Hey mate, it looks great! I’m up in QLD and tossing up between the Sir Walter, Sapphire, and Sir Grange. I’ve also always preferred the shorter cut too. I’d love the SG, but cost differs quite a bit and seeing your results here and in other videos makes me think the SW can certainly do the job!

Lawn Dreams Hey mate, thanks and yes, super exciting for me 😂 I haven’t read much into the TifTuf? I’ve chosen those particular strands because we’ve got some we’ll established trees and the house throws quite a bit of shade, so I was looking at the more shade tolerant varieties. I’ll have to have a look at TifTuf though now

Hey mate! Love the shorter cut. I'm about to order turf in QLD but I'm tossing up between Sir Walter and Palmetto. The internet seems biased based on the supplier you look up so not sure which one to choose. Which one would you go with?

I bought a cylinder mower at Christmas but it seems to be damaging my lawn its as high as I can get the blades will my lawn adjust to the shorter cut and come good or have I got the wrong lawn for a cylinder mower

Hey mate - What's the benefit in taking the buff so low? Why do you want to achieve 10mm (if it can jeopordise the health of the grass if you accidentally cut up the runners)?

Michael Preece thanks for the question mate! Firstly, I prefer the look lower. It will also encourage more dense growth for when I eventually bring it back up towards dormancy. But mainly, it’s because I like to live dangerously

Henryk Dulay I think it was predominately more of a dead area that’s right on top of some tree roots. Trying to nurse it back to health with some light aeration. Going from 16mm to 13mm this weekend 😳

Not sure what the hang-up with the squinting is all about. I didn't notice it until you pointed it out. Don't sweat it. I think you should be more concerned about the socks (3:17). LOL. Just kidding. Great video! I cut my St. Aug between 3-4 inches here in Texas, as my understanding is that this grass prefers to be cut higher. Am I wrong?
