PYLE PP999 COMPACT ULTRA-LOW NOISE PHONO TURNTABLE PREAMP WITH 12-VOLT ADAPTOR - PREAMPLIFIER
PYLE PP444 ULTRA COMPACT PHONO TURNTABLE PREAMP
PYLE PP555 ULTRA COMPACT PHONO TURNTABLE PRE-AMPLIFIER W/ 9 V BATTERY COMPARTMENT
This electronic preamplifier stands up to the test and will provide you with serious sound performance. The PP444 is perfect for bringing your studio equipment's phono-level output to a more suitable line-level output. It'll take your audio signal, amplify its strength and prepare it for further processing by your receiver or amplifier. Preamps technically provide voltage gain to your desired equipment and are key to assisting the signal source, whether it's a turntable, musical instrument or microphone. The ultra-low noise audio conditioning circuitry allows the preamp to boost audio to levels that are more manageable for various types of audio equipment. You'll find it easier to adjust the recording level volumes of different sources from microphones and instruments alike. You should position your preamp close to the source to reduce unwanted noise and interference. Preamps can sometimes come built into the stereo equipment, but if that's not the case, the PP444 is an easy install, wise choice and great addition to any musician or producer. Take your sounds and audio production skills to the next level with the PP444 Preamplifier

My Denon x4200 receiver has phono and sounds great however, I bought the Pyle pp999 and no difference perhaps the receiver is better. I just bought the Lounge LCR MKIII preamp and can't wait for it to arrive. It should be night and day. Great video by the way!!
@expertisland
@expertisland 5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment, your Denon has a Phone input So the pre-amp would match the quality of the all the other components in the x4200. upgrading the cartage on the turntable would make it sound better..

@@expertisland thanks this is my first turntable. It's the music hall ikura and came with ortofon 2m blue cartridge. I think both of those will suffice for now. The reason I got the lounge lcr mkIII is to improve the quality as I'm sure it's way better then the denon phono.

Hi I still have my Fisher turntable, unfortunately it was getting too difficult to repair the Fisher Amplifier so i switched from the tuner,amplifier combo to a Pioneer receiver. I bought the 999 but the sound is thin and low ( obviously not as thin and low as without- but still,meh) . I know it's not going to be the same sound as say the tuner but is there anything else I can do?

Thanks for the good info! Question: My turntable does not have RCAs,only one 3.5mm headphone jack,will these pre amps work, providing I use a 3.5mm plug to RCA cable? Thank you
@CardsharpGaming
@CardsharpGaming 5 жыл бұрын
What turntable do you have? It sounds like all you need is a 3.5mm cord (aux cord) and plug that from your turntable to passive speakers that have a 3.5mm input (aux input). Your current setup also works; does this setup give you very low volume? If so then yes, you'll most likely need a phono preamp.

I have an Onkyo CP1000A turntable (no ground wire) and I'm trying to connect it to my Onkyo Surround Sound receiver. I purchased the PP444 today and hooked it up with no problem. I'm able to get much more volume from my vinyl but there's a humming coming from the speakers. Also the volume is not nearly as good as my CD player hooked directly up to my receiver. Am I doing something wrong or is that the best I can do with these preamps? Any suggestions on one that won't break the bank and get rid of the buzz? Thanks!
@expertisland
@expertisland 4 жыл бұрын
Ground your turntable to your receiver with a wire (any wire will do) the hum/buzz should go away. your needle and cartage is where the quality of sound comes from.

Here's my issue: The stereo receiver/amp is designed with phono preamp. However, the volume is still very low. I tried one of these preamps and I get distortion. Any suggestions?
@tedburg6042
@tedburg6042 4 жыл бұрын
If you plugged the separate preamp into the phono input you were running 2 preamps in a row . That will make distortion. Use the cd input or whatever you have left over. Not the phono input on the reciever.
