She is part of the OG phase connect gen 1 which was all designed without input by the talents and then sakana recruited people to play the characters. Her character, Ashelia Rinkou, did not fit at all with her personality and was intended to be an airhead bimbo type who was also the main girl of the phase connect lore. This caused Lia a lot of distress and wouldve lead to her quitting if nothing changed and so it was decided to adjust her character and design to be something more fitting to the actor behind it.
