Kindof Sc2: Really in depth life history of the players like where they went to school, how busty reynor's mom is, what a player's favorite ice cream is, meta game history, lore. Not Sc2: other gaming news, lowko's rise to youtube stardom, fielding questions from the viewers like "lowko, how did you meet your gf and how much more important is SC2 then her?"

Actually quite a strong TvZ opener with BCs that I've been using is a BC with helbat push, where you delay the 3rd CC a little to maximize the helbat count then so the armory finishes as soon as the BC has teleports across the map inbetween the natural and the third. You then waltz into the natural and try and kill as many drones and maybe even the base, when the queens show themselves, dive ontop of them with the hellions and transform them into helbats ontop of the queens. If you're above diamond 2 then perhaps proxying the fusion core and the armory so the zerg don't scout it. Often times I can beat zerg right then and there because they have less than 10 queens. You could probably do a variant of this where you go triple CC with this, but everything else would be delayed, and the helbat count would be lower.

I really like that you have it in 1440p and 2160p... that is soooo much pleasant to watch then others.

Zerg in such a sad state right now

As soon as you see terran get building armor and start producing extra orbitals. You know you're done for. Honestly, I don't see why neosteel armor isn't researched more often. It takes planetary up from 3 to 5 armor taking Zergling damage from 5 down to 3 which is a 40% damage reduction. Maybe not as good vs lurker or hydra pushes but it just makes their base defense that much stronger.

43:00 I think when you make small changes at the high level, it can have a significant impact. Those players are so dialed in they get the absolute most out of their units, so even a tiny nerf is huge. For players like me, there's so much slop in our play it really doesn't make much of a difference.

This is a totally unrelated comment to the video but I still have a question. How do you defend (while playing as protoss) to an early banshee harass that turns into all in banshee cheese? Don't be too hard on the folks who want you to explain the early game a little bit. After all, this could be the first SC2 cast they've ever seen.

So I don't play SC2 ladder but it seems like banelings are supposed to counter marines but terrans have gotten so good at countering banes with marines that you need luck or an error on the other players part to get a good connection. Marauders are, according to liquipedia, also supposed to counter banes. The Hydra is good but it gets countered by siege tank and a bunch of marines. With medivac support, marine survivability is insane. So marine marauder medivac siege tank/widow mine can be used pretty much all game by the terran while zerg has to tech up to a bunch of casters and micro the hell out of a bunch of different glass cannon units. I feel like with how good terrans have become, you revert some of the zerg nerfs and it gets fair again. If zerg can't spread creep as efficiently, they can't defend their hatcheries as efficiently, which decreases their production, as the hatches are all that can produce units. At the same time, terran builds more production and zergs the zerg. I feel like protoss hasn't completely found its footing. It alternates between hyper aggression and turtling, with skytoss+HT and maybe immortal deathball, which is quite hard to micro and isn't easy to counter but costs a lot. tldr; Complaining about sc2 strategy and balance even though I don't ladder.
