Lowrance HOOK Reveal | How to Use FishReveal

FishReveal is a new feature to the latest lineup of HOOK products. While FishReveal is turned on by default in the DownScan panel, there are a few settings that you can change to customize your view.
Lowrance Product Expert Jacob Scott walks through the settings of FishReveal on HOOK Reveal, and how to turn the feature on and off.

In general, the TI units are faster in response to inputs. This is seen when quickly switching between sonar, downscan, chart, and split screens kzfaq.infoUgkxeAxH15LxhjGlg5-CRYqjTGTEH0tbY4vk recommend The Hook units will show some lag on button pushes and screen switching. The big ticket item though is maps. If you install a mapping card such as Navionics or the free C-Map Genesis which has a lot of map detail, then moving around the map with the cursor or when running down the lake can lag significantly on the Hook units, but is seamless with the TI units.

I wish you would create a video on how to start programming the unit from the point of turning it on. Your technical support sucks buttermilk in my opinion. Number one problem is that they don't understand me and I’m not understanding what they say too often. I have talked to six representatives so far on my issues and it drives me nuts. None of them have a unit on their desks, and one said they have one but it was “too far away” to go get so we could be on the same pages. That one also said she’s “visualizing” what I was saying, lol! Reading instructions is as slow a reading a book. Being able to see what’s going on is the best way to learn.

@@lowrance It doesn’t change anything. I called two days ago twice. The first girl I spoke with English was so bad she could not understand me and actually hung up. The second man was a little better but I still could only understand about 40 % of what he said. I finally gave up and told him I wasn’t happy with the service. I spent over 5 hours researching and finally found the answer on a forum. The answer could have been solved in about 5 minutes with a English speaking rep.

We got our hook reveal 7 ts fish finder three months ago used it 6 times after the third time use the screen has been blinking on and off and shutting off , trying to call lowrance nothing yet , we could use help

Is there any way to change the black on black lettering on the Downscan screen? If there isn't there should be. Why is every pallet option for Downscan black? The black letters completely disappear on the sun.

You said you could switch from this color to that color and I mever saw it change at all. Am I missing something?

The change will only affect the FishReveal overlay data when changing the color in the FishReveal Options.

what is the maximum salt water depth range hook revel 50-200

The 50/200kHz, is a 600watts transducer and can penetrate salt water up to 300m.

Do you hear a beeping when you press any buttons? With your unit switched on, please short press the power key a couple of times. Does the brightness come up?
