I think the real reason why EVO is standing on keeping Dale banned is because Dale joked about Broly Legs the way he did. Before the match even started, he said. "this Krang mf" so his lies about Broly Legs started it first is a complete lie. Broly Legs is well respected in the FGC, especially seeing how he overcame many obstacles and was one of the best Street Fighter players. For Dale to disrespect someone like Broly Legs, I think that is when EVO and many others just said, f this man, we are forever dissociating ourselves from him.

Not to mention, they probably kept tabs on ltg and realized how toxic he is in the gaming community, realizing that this dude hasn't changed in the slightest and just wants a one up on evo, hence why they keep him banned. Plus even if Evo unbanned him, then what? He would simply get bodied again like he did before, and that reiko spam and zoning shit wouldn't work at all on professional players. He doesn’t realize that companies keep tabs on when you do dumb stuff, especially with him not really having that big of following. They wanted something concrete to ban him with, and then they kept him banned. Same thing with KZfaq. There are years of racial and grape stories he has on the platform, so they banned him off something petty and are keeping him off the platform.

Well....brands also need players that are known for winning. If he wasn't such a try-hard with being an egomaniac, he'd literally be known for nothing. But now that EVO is back, and pretty strong with the prize money, coverage and exposure; look at this man using every excuse in the book to be unbanned: Apology [X], Beg [X], Minoritys [X]. He needs EVO to widen his audience, "brand", and feel somewhat more relevant in the FGC.
