I love how the lyrics are really personal and heartfelt, despite Rainbow Dash not really being known for that kind of stuff. This song isn't about the Rainbow Dash that's projected out into the world, it's about the Rainbow Dash within.

I can't believe it's been over 10 years. I remember listening to this for the Nth time in early 2013, writing fanfiction, going to my first pony convention, and thinking: "Man, this is going to be my Year Of Pony." Now it's been over a decade of pony, and I'm still coming back here for that hit of feels.

I actually really love the lyrics of this song. "I could save my lonely soul for you, but the feeling in my heart can't follow through" in particular hits home for me. Not to mention the way it paints Rainbow Dash's character perfectly, with added dimensions that people often miss.

I love how Loyalty, Spectrum, and I'll Fly Higher all have similar tunes at the beginning. Some people may call it "lazy" but I honestly think its genius.

This song's release couldn't have been timed better. I was just having a conversation with a friend who I feared was drifting away from me. He linked this song, and things went in a completely different direction... Thank God he found this. All is right with the world once more. Just know that this song has held together a family, gentlemen. My friends are far more than just friends to me. This loyalty makes us a family.

god, every time i hear this song i get blasted back to middle school. i didn't watch the show past season 3-4 (lost interest in the show during an off-season or something) but damn dude. it's really bittersweet that the show is over. i remember when there was a point that every other person you interacted with on the internet had an mlp picture and was a brony, we polluted just about every website out there lol. now though, it's a rare and dying breed. legit have met people that don't even know what a brony is recently. i've tried getting back into this show for the final season, but i can't. i feel retarded when i watch it. anyway, while i never had many brony friends, or even talked about the show with people, thanks to anyone who was part of this journey. i guess i wound up leaving you guys in the dust half-way through, but lord, do i hold such a soft spot for all of this nonsense in my heart. /)

There were days when I lay in the hospital with a serious illness, I listened to these songs, I believed in my life, I was real brony. All this has disappeared. Acousticbrony? I have not heard from him for a long time, and from MandPony I have only nick. Now, listening to this song, I feel a burning sensation in my chest, my sick heart makes itself felt when I'm worried. I was a child and I was lucky, I was cured and finally saw a life that disappointed me. Listening to this song, I again remember those moments and these were very sweet moments of this life. It is a pity to lose this time, it's a pity that for the brony community it all turned out so. Sorry for the illiterate English, I'm from Russia.
