My favorite thing about this performance is that it looks like she’s not even aware that it is a performance, she’s just jamming like no one’s seeing, and she’s in her own world. One of the best live performances I have seen, hands down!

Instead of talking about OITNB, Let's talk about the artist here. LP does fantastic work in this song and video. This is a LIVE session people! There are not too many artists that can sound Better if not the same as a recorded session. The range in her voice is phenomenal. She not only sings the song but feels it. Watch how she walks away from the mic, for a fade effect. This video/LIVE session is outstanding. You do not get enough credit LP.

For me listening to LP is like walking into a small room lit with candles and being given a space to acknowledge and process feelings of sadness, heartbreak and loneliness but not feeling alone as you go through it. She's so authentic, so deep, so real. Finding her music has been incredibly healing and enjoyable for me. Will be a lifelong fan for sure.
