why raising the drill pipes barehand when you can do that with the crank? and... it's seems that a piece is missing for guiding the drill pipe ?

I think it's easier to put electric hoist, so as not to twist hands.

Water is a funny thing where I come from. You can drill a well and get great flow at 80’ and move the rig a few feet and go 120’? No rhyme or reason!

How do you know when you hit water ?

You can notice when the water appears for 3 reasons: 1. There is a significant loss of water in the water cycling pools. 2. bubbles appear at the exit of the drill hole 3. If you are using drilling chemicals, the normal color of the mud is homogeneous, so when the water appears, the color of the mud is no longer homogeneous and becomes different shades.

What about just hooking that water line to a compressor instead? Then you would contaminate your ground water and it blows the hole out as it works.

All well drilling rigs have large air compressors on them.
@razogarzon32482 жыл бұрын
You need a pneumatic hammer bit to drill with air and you have to mix surfactants with the water to control dust. When youre drilling a deep oil or gas well they drill the surface string with straight water and they rarely if ever weight up the water with barite or gel additives but they can flow 2500 gpm of water through an 8 chamber pit system too. They did this right except they needed a bigger pit system for the flow they had out of the pump they were using

Kind of misleading considering you never got to the Water Sand when drilling. You made it look like you just drilled down to any depth and the water would be there. WRONG ! There is a Science and a lot more Know How to drilling an actual well.
@terryreyes11256 жыл бұрын
wow that's a piece of shit machine. so expensive and you're doing more work then drilling it manually 🙄
