Juan Lopez You have many options. If you are keeping the turbo 350, you need the flexplate spacer.You can also buy a specialty flexplate to adapt LS to old school. If you are using manual trans muncie 4spd., you need the flywheel out of early LS truck manual shift, old school clutch/pressure plate bolts right up, but you will have to enlarge pressure plate holes a tad. You also dont hammer in the throwout bearing all the way, you leave it sticking out of the crank a tad. You can do this wiring system in the video, or if you buy a junkyard motor on ebay and places like that, nowadays they include the wiring harness. You can also do away with this setup and buy the MSD injector kit with fuel rails and brain box, you can also run carb and buy the MSD kit which reads your timing sensors and fires the spark plugs. You can also do away with that and buy the front timing cover kit which spins a SB Ford distributor and have no sensors to go bad on the road. Many choices.* Ebay has a edelbrack manifold kit minus the carburetor with the MSD brain for the spark plugs for around $700.

If it is a cable operated throttle body you would need this part: www.speedwaymotors.com/Speedway-1999-2003-Vortec-V8-Wiring-Harness,46373.html. They didn't use the throttle by wire design until 2004, so that is the difference.

This LS conversion harness will only run the engine itself. You will still need to have a harness and fusebox for the rest of the car.

Hey, while I don't have any experience with this particular harness, it's fundamentally identical to what you would end up with if you were to dissect your existing harness....so,short answer is 'NO', you would not be using the stock fuse panel. I personally recommend doing your own harness modifications, not only do you save a considerable amount of money, but you also gain a true understanding of exactly how your powertrain is oriented and how it functions. I recently "completed" (never truly complete!!) my first swap, a stock 5.3L vortec/ 4l60e from an '02 Silverado into a 1967 Dodge D200 Sweptline pickup. *RATHER than disabling the truck by removing the harness & thinning out the nonessential wires, I opted instead to go to the pick 'n pull, salvage an identical harness for $67 total, and complete the "standalone" harness procedures as laid out so generously by Brendan of lt1swap.com. So, by the time I had removed the complete harness from the salvage yard, reworked it, and removed the existing harness from my truck, I was able to install my reworked harness with virtually no assistance from the labels and notes I had taken on the connectors. If you are doing a LSX 454 the harness needed will vary depending on what fuel system that engine uses. If you have a factory ecm, use the corresponding harness for the year of the computer.

Toby Whitaker gen III LS engines use a single PCM controlling both the engine and trans. Gen IV uses a separate TCM or transmission Control Module. Gen III years are 98-07, Gen IV 07-12(?). 2007 was a crossover year and could be either. Stay away from 98 fbody PCMs as they not the same.

I thought the 4l80 would use the t42 control module ?

The LS PCM won’t communicate at all with the BMW ECU. I’m sorry, but we don’t have any experience with getting the LS PCM to work with the factory gauges.

We do have LT1 harnesses available as part number 91009497. These harnesses are intended for installing your LT1 engine into another vehicle, so it is not exactly like the OEM harness. It appears you are correct in that your LS to a Nissan cd009 Transmission has likely not been done. The Speedway staff will not have the re pinning process for that match up but possibly online. You may also want to check with the “Fuel Injection Connection” as they are the most knowledgeable on these LS harnesses. Their number is on their website and be patient as they are very busy people.
