Күн бұрынWe met Ricardo at SEMA 2019 and knew right away that we had to shoot his Chevelle. His styling choices are very cool and its a very tasteful build overall. We love the color choices and the interior is simply beautiful.

Flawless finish. Love the way it's rocking at 8:30 sitting at the red light. Both guys just rocking in their chairs like it's normal. Wait until they tune that beast. Beautiful craftsmanship. Perfect stance. You guys should all be proud of that one.

If you ever watch the movie "Faster", the Chevelle in there has a '70 front and a '71-'72 rear. Its like they made the Chevelle that should have been.

8:20 It's like you 2 are bopping to some imaginary music at the stop light😂. Once tuned it will be spot on. Love the color combos. I always loved the Chevelles. I had a 72 a long time ago and regretted that I didn't have it too long to enjoy much.

It needs some minor tweaking (tune, brakes) but it’s a great build. Killer color combos!

What an outstanding build & the time frame het got it done in is outstanding, too! I hope Ricardo has you back for a proper shakedown when the tune, belts, and brakes are all dialed in to his liking. I hope a little of his fine tequila is left over for that run, too.

I've always had a soft spot for orange muscle cars. Guess it goes back to Bo and Luke Duke. Pretty sure they never wore seat belts either. That interior was clean, stitching was exceptional. Thanks Shawn for another dream build!

I'm totally envious of that Patron!! I just bought a bottle of the "everyday" Patron last night for me and a friend to enjoy tonight. But the stuff y'all were drinking must be soooo smooth. GREAT CAR tho!! Perfect color the interior looks amazing. And I can only imagine what it'll be like when everything is all dialed in. Thanks for sharing this one Shawn. Gonna go check out the merch now. Need at least one of those t-shirts.

Its kind of a breath of fresh air to see a custom on a stock frame and not be totally radical and butchered. My favorites are the survivor series cars.

I love how people are pulling the front seats out of all kinds of cars you wouldn't expect, I've seen Audi, Alfa Romeo and now Mercedes and they all look great. That shifter was really cool, the paint and interior were all on point looking fantastic, but the icing on the cake was the bottle in the boot =D (oops trunk hehe)

That thing lopes like an old muscle car with a big cam. Those two bouncing in their seats at the stop sign! I have a 72 Chevelle and am looking to do the ls swap. Nice car. Cool honest guys.

Hello Santa!!! I’ve been a good boy all year!!! LOL! I had a 71 back in the day and it was nice!!! The power of straight motor and good headers & exhaust make all the difference!! And the sound of an automatic trans. snaggin’ second gear!! I’m drooling over here, can you tell!? Ha!

This is the first car that I wasn't thrilled about. It is a very nice build and he nailed the interior. The outside to me didn't flow with all the black.

if that's a 71, then it has 1972 turn signal lights in the front. 1971 split them in two. Colour combo is great, doesn't look "Halloween" pumpkin-ish. I have an 86 Mustang in competition orange and the factory GT black war paint, it looked good when it wore blacked rims too. Folks are loath to try it out, but it comes off well--but I had the factory grey interior, i like the caramel choice here better. And its nice to not have 1,000 hp dyno queen under the hood. some folks forget, its nice to just have a cruiser car.

@@AutotopiaLA thank you. i'll guess the more the owner drove it, the more he got used to it, and the more comfortable he felt adding power. I live in the snow belt, so jumping back and forth from old cars with cast iron steering boxes and no ABS or traction control to daily drivers with all that technology to save you...well, let's just say, don't be using the cellphone when you take out your toy in spring and the learning curve begins again :)

Im not a fan of this style of build but this one is very nice. Hopefully he gets it tuned soon. That surging at idle while in gear is a lean condition. Needs a looser converter as well.

I am French, 44 years old and a fan of old American cars since I was a kid, the lines, the melody of the V8, I love them all but I have a weakness for the already beautiful original Chevelle, in restomod it is a jewel. *420 hp* That's my man right there! 😂 The tread pattern is interesting on those tires. What's the deal with them? The namesake stashed in the hideaway trunk compartment is a smooth touch. I've done quite a bit of upholstery in my day and a job like that is meticulous 'cause it will magnify the slightest flaw. Such a clean build.

I went flowmaster stainless w/Borla mufflers & tips. Borla look odd on 72’ Elco, str8 out the back. but I’m used to it. And It’s her signature now. & HATED going w/flow master. But love the sound. 👉🏽NO “DRONE”❤️ Zero complaints. Lopes nicely & only loud at speed. Sometimes y’never know🤷🏽♂️
