I love what you said about the Lucas fans whining and wasting time!! I was one of them. The focus is on Governor Bouchard and his future success! Whatever that brings, I'm on board!!

I know there is a feeling of a let down when a season ends but this episode left me feeling upset that again Lucas was saying he made mistakes in the far and near past. He looked pale and uncomfortable even in the wedding scene. It’s not nice when Elizabeth says I know you’re fine every time. It’s an easy way out just because he is being so held back about his feelings. I feel fooled for three seasons building admiration for a kind, clever, devoted, giving person and they turn him into a shady success seeking figure. I want to see him using his characteristic from his positive seasons and shining. Thank you for your recap-it kept me going this season!

I think that for Chris as an actor this season was a delight. I was waiting for the kiss and EN couple just so that everyone would get over it. I'm looking forward to Lucas' story, I have no idea what will happen next and that's interesting: new challenges, a new love, new revelations...a new beginning! Yes, it was a bad approach, but let's hope for the best for the show. I trust that they will use Chris' talent

Thank you for the chat. I am glad that Lucas was part of the wedding party as Mike's groomsman. I hope they reveal more about Jack to E. I was expecting Elizabeth to finally apologize to Lucas, but was not impressed that she just wanted to tell him that she was going to the wedding with somebody else. I felt she has no guilty feelings and conscience about breaking up with him. Lucas deserves somebody way better who actually has a heart for him. Honestly, I don't like the writing for her scenes. I skipped over the romance. I have no interest to see that. I still think they need to change the show runner and writers to those who actually are Lucas fans and have them change up the romance with Elizabeth. I don't like the direction they are going with. I skipped most of the scenes. I was expecting more Lucas scenes aside from Mike and Mei's wedding.

If Lucas’s dad was in politics, wouldn’t that have come up during conversations with Elizabeth when she was first encouraging him to run for governor? The writing has been all over the place in recent years with too many missed opportunities for cohesiveness.

Lucas is a very strong character and I absolutely love his relationship with Henry and Bill--especially with Henry. Not everything has to have romance. Sometimes I prefer "bromances". Their friendship is more interesting than the Elizabeth and Nathan relationship in my opinion

This episode was so dissapointing to me, Too many stories & too rushed for me .Honestly I will only be back because of Lucas.And of course your podcast .I truly enjoyed this fireside chat with Lucas.Thank you,

I want Lucas to rebuild confidence in himself and his administration

I think they didn't want to much dialogue between Lucas and Elizabeth because Of the chemistry between Chris and Erin. I saw more chemistry with them in those few minutes than all the scenes with Kevin and Erin. Chris and Erin's chemistry is undeniable. Don't expect to many scenes between them in season 12. Too risky.

Regarding Lucas Elizabeth dialogue, I don't know what the writers are after, but they don't put E in a good light. Maybe they want to emphasize that L is fine, but the approach doesn't seem correct. As we know L as a character, he wouldn't say anything else anyway, he wouldn't make Elizabeth feel guilty or stupid. So I don't understand the point of the dialogue the way it was staged, they don't even have friends vibe.

I feel like this is the weakest finale they had so far on the show. I’m glad that Lucas is going to fight to keep his job. While Chris did a wonderful job this season, I do hope that they ease off a little bit. I would love to see Lee and Rosemary be more like a friend for him. I feel like we don’t see that much this season. I’m very curious to hear what you and your co-hosts are going to say about Jack.

Ep12 was better than I thought it would be. The cliff hanger was vague, but Nathan may be leaving HV??
