Everyone's saying you're like tool and I say bullshit. Tool and a perfect circle are more heavy and that's why I love your stuff. You stay in the build up that makes the psychedelic amazing and it's much more psychedelic so don't stop! Psychedelic metal ftw

A Perfect Circle may have its heavier songs, but their melodic songs far outnumber their heavy songs. Hell, with the exception of a couple of songs that were on Mer de Noms, that album makes this album seem like death metal, by comparison. I get the comparisons to Tool and APC, and it's not bullshit. Lucid Planet sounds like a combination of both bands, minus the amazing percussion by Danny Carey.

I mean they are similar. Tool is prog art rock with metal leanings. I say this album is prog art metal with psych rock leanings. Also Danny, Tool, is a drummer who utilizes many polyrythms. Polyrythms are a great way to sound tribal. Tribal is exactly how they describe Lucid P.

Hi guys. And thank you! Found you so late by KZfaq suggesting. You are looking so underrated. Sound is great but same time 5,1K subscribers at your channel. I believe that all you need is some good promotion. You would get such a great listeners base if somebody from Tool just said something about your band. And drummer is pretty good, but of course I always compare to Danny Carey =)

I mean aside from having the same 4-6-7 time signatures and his vocals going gruff in a fascinating manner on-point with Maynard and practically the same watery, rapid wavering effect on the lead guitar at points, it's SO different. Just utterly different, huh? Although this does sound a bit more watered down with digitized effects.

Augusto Vitor they do resemble Tool but many bands do (especially sons of the tundra) etc but they do have there own sound too and it's awesome. Heard of them after going to the new perfect circle song. Going to download this album right now ☺

Its something like a cross between metallicas extended instrumental play but way softer, with a hint of tools light singing. Your growling is a little like godsmack. Great sounding music dont get me wrong, but some of the pieces feel forced. If I had the patience for a metallica song, id have patience to listen to the same song for 10 minutes. But keep at it, people are catching on to your stuff :)
