I really wish you guys go in the direction of adding those big splashes, crazy time signatures, and heavy moments into more of your songs. The softer stuff feels more like a nice interlude than an entire or 3/4 of a song. When you guys go hard it's great!

Had a Christmas shroom sesh last weekend and had this album on 🤯was an exceptional companion for the evening. Whenever the section in this track around 3.30min dropped blew my fucking mind each and every time!! Visuals are incredible and work perfectly with the music. Bravo fella’s

What an awesome album. In my top 3 since I first heard it. Stumbled upon it lookin for info on the new tool album. Little did I know I had another three or four years to go waitin for fear inoculum, but this fooled me at first and as I listened I was hooked immediately and it held me over in great form as I waited. It ranks up there with the best of em in my book of music

This band seems interesting, and it's definitely something I'll watch, but nothing's grabbing me so far. I just feel that a lot of motifs and phrases overstay their welcome and the repetitive bits could be cut out with no negative consequence. Maybe vary it up instrumentally too. Try brushed drums or a flute or something, I dunno.

Definitely no, stuff like that may work with dt or haken or TYS, but not with this band, they have calming psychedelic music which wouldnt fit with what u asked, and not every prog band must be melancholic to be good.

Why are people so hyperbolic about stuff like this? They are both ridiculously great albums, and it would be nice to talk about the good things in each instead of comparing negatives. "I like the vocals in this one better" "I prefer the grittier rock sound of this one over some of the more electronic stuff in the newer album." It's not shitty or less good because it doesn't fit your taste, it just doesn't fit your taste as well.

There’s like 2 electronic songs, 3 movies and 3 causal songs on the album. Try entrancement, offer and on the way. I felt the same way you did but a year later and the album is a masterpiece to me
