It's no surprise he was sweating, he was really ill during this performance and was taken almost immediately for medical attention after he'd finished. It's unusual for him to sweat during a single performance but pretty common during a concert as he's so active, running, jumping and dancing. His mother once said that after a concert his clothes are soaking wet through and halfway through the Prague concert his mother left her seat and wiped his forehead with her handkerchief.

If you haven't done Ogni Pietra (Olimpico) yet, I highly recommend that one.

Okay this is a different Stranger from the original, but basically as good. He does more acrobatics in the bridge, but the last note doesn't last as long. This is is the Shine version from China, probably not the version Dears thought that would see, but it has its own vocal feats. 😉

You should listen to The Singer 2017 Adagio of Dimash. It’s his very best

Dimash was ill for this performance so had to change his usual delivery of this song. It's still mind-blowing regardless. I heard he went to the hospital right after this performance due to breathing difficulties. You might want to view his New Wave 2021 Stranger premiere performance as the staging is spectacular. He also premiered Fly Away (composed by a Kazakh composer) and Ave Maria (new composition by Igor Krutoy). Check them all out. Each song different as night and day. All beautiful.

Actually music scholars have answered that question a voice like Dimash comes around once a every thousand years or more. How lucky we are to have him in our lifetime.

Dimash current sung live range is G0-D8 7.7 octaves, he can go to the lowest base to out of the stratosphere and yet he has acknowledged that's not his limit, but any more than he has done isn't consistent with his goal to make beautiful music, he has no interest in trying to break vocal records. I agree with him, it's more than enough and he doesn't need many tries to hit his notes, he just nails them as if it was nothing 🙂

This version is great, and he's sweating there because I heard he had a temperature, eventually he had to leave the show. And I'm sure people will tell you that you reacted to the wrong version. They will say react to New Wave 2021 Stranger. But I love this version too.

This version of the performance is slightly pitch corrected here and there, for example the last tone. There is another version where he is like a semitone or a tone lower. He holds it through tho so he probably had problems with his monitors. Doesn't really matter because slightly off or not here and there, he still does things no other male singer does.

At the end of 2021, Dimash attended an event in China called: Shine! Super Brothers S2. The Chinese reality show in which male artists, singers, dancers and actors formed teams and faced challenges together. Dimash wanted to test his team spirit. This, to me, is way more impressive than the more commonly reviewed version that is lip synced to a professionally recorded track. This sounded live, he was amazing but not perfect (as no live performances are), and still blew me away.
