I was very sorry tha Lucifer could not be with his daughter´s upbringing. He would enjoy it, he would be the perfect father.

I know Rory asked him to not change the time loop but it still breaks my heart, that he's not able to see his daughter grow up, but what gives me hope, is that they have all eternity together and Ildy also confirmed that he went down to earth to see Chloe time by time and that he was able to hold baby Rory, because it's just important to not change the time loop since she can remember

I wish Rory interrupted a little later before dragging them back to reality. It was so sweet seeing Lucifer comprehend this.

I was pregnant earlier this year. I named the baby Aurora before I was even 2 months in. I lost it. The fact I identify so much with Lucifer and the fact his daughter's name is Rory/Aurora, I almost fainted. It hit home so hard, I cried. So hard.

You can see he is kinda awestruck (in a good way) that it’s happening. It’s heartbreaking. He should be able to go through all of those years raising her. You can see how badly he wants it throughout the last two episodes especially.

the ending was so bittersweet, after spending so much time with these characters i feel so conflicted 😭

In my head canon he was with her and Chloe up till the point she was a toddler (when she would start remembering). And then would watch from the shadows/windows. And occasionally and secretly meet up with Chloe to be with her without messing with the timeline. Along with her giving him pictures and videos of Rory to watch. And having Amenadiel send messages back and forth between her and Lucifer.

I still cannot believe they made Lucifer a father, and then forced him to do to his daughter the same thing his father did to him. Hated this ending, there was nothing sweet about it at all.

I was so sad about them spending so much time apart. It was heartbreaking. I mean, as a human Chloe had to wait most of her life, 60 years for him. But Lucy waited for Chloe and Rory thousands of years. 30 seconds in hell is like 60 years right? 1 second on eartch equals 2 years in hell... So he waited 3,784,320,000 years for her during that 60 years... That's a heavy idea. Unless of course something changed in the way time pass by there as Lucy started to be a hell healer...

I’ve re-watched S1-S5 several times and could play S1 on a loop, but I can’t bring myself to re-watch S6 because I ugly cried so much that I just don’t want to feel so sad again. It’s all too heartbreaking

I think that Rory kinda ruined this scene because they were having a good moment and Rory just says that she is outside of her too. But I loved the way Lucifer handled it. Most people are like f*** this shit I’m out. But this is only my opinion.

I can understand Rory’s pain from a certain point of view but hated how she forced Lucifer to not change anything. Rory is now the cause of her own pain. This reminds me of how season 3 of the flash, when Flash finds out he’s the cause of his pain.

I honestly don’t like the promise he and Rory made. Like I’m pretty sure Lucifer could have figure out his calling without Rory telling him. He could have stayed with Chloe and raise Rory together, those souls aren’t going anywhere, they can wait a bit longer for him.

I still cant believe it, his brother can go to earth and silver city as free as he can, but lucifer cant going back to earth again...... Why ?? T_T

i mean, i get it, time loop, and all that. But it still breaks my heart that lucifer did not fulfill his desire - he didn’t get to watch his daughter grow up. (and that he wasn’t on Chloe’s deathbed (it literally killed me))

With Amedagod telling angles to spend more time on Earth, Rory and Charles will get more cousins. lots more.

I just finished watching the series 2 days ago. This was just sad, all of this. Even the happy moments. I just couldn't stop feeling bad for the devil. How I desired what he desired! I wanted at least one whole episode of chloe's pregnancy and Lucifer being there throughout her journey, their journey. An eternity wasn't enough for me, as much as their journey as parents was. Despite the show having a happy ending, the last episode was unfortunately the saddest.🥺 And I saw the thumbnail of this video before I got to see Rory on the show, I felt so sad and excited. Sad for I kind of spoiled it for myself and excited to see them both share this news and have their baby! I didn't even watch this video before I finished the series, but damn! It was just sad and sadder, to see that glint of joy in his eyes despite fearing the inevitable. 😔

Even though I still love this season, part of me thinks the Rory time travel or Lucifer not be able to come back on earth is kinda stupid. I mean Amenadil became God and just come and goes , and Lucifer is still one of the powerful celestial being so I still thinks that he can still be with Chloe from time to time, it does not make sense at all. 🤔🤷

rory asking lucifer to abandon her was literally the worst writing/ending i had seen in television in a long time. made me really mad when the series had done such a good job until the last season talking about familial relationships and how we heal from the hurt we cause each other. the idea that rory *chose* to be neglected was honestly really disgusting to me.

S5 and S6 gave us some hints of what was going to happen. Even if I am sad with the last episode, the truth is Chloe and Lucifer had their own callings, a lot of work to do, even if they tried to commute them with their personal life on Earth. Also, immortals would need to move someday, I suppose Amenadiel and Maze did when the mortals were old and they weren't. So, before or after, Lucifer would need to leave. Yes, it is not the same when you are a baby than when you are a teenager or an adult and understand things, but it also hurts. Why Chloe didn't tell Rory the reason why he left? Rory realised it was her decision to be angry, so she would be mad that he put his job first than his family. And, according to Rory, Lucifer knew about her, so, I am sure everyone would explain her when time comes. Remember that her family and friends talked about Lucifer, so he wasn't a stranger in her life. I suppose because the first Lucifer wasn't trapped in a Time Loop, he visited them more times freely, and when Rory started to remember, then he left. The Lucifer from the Time Loop probably did the same, but being more careful. And yes, Amenadiel commuted, but he had some help and he is God now. Lucifer was alone for this job, until Chloe dies and goes to Hell. But I don't understand one thing: when Rory comes back, Lucifer knows her? I suppose the ending scene is our Chloe and Lucifer, but, when Rory comes back to her own time is the same Lucifer she met in the past? If we use Back to the Future idea, Marty changed his future, but that means he came back to another timeline (remember Back to the Future 2, so it is possible), same for Rory, because even if they didn't change her, the adults knew her. So, or her timeline was deleted, or she will meet the Lucifer that always been in Hell and only saw her as a baby. I hope there happened a reboot and those memories were on them. When you change the future you can remove things, I suppose you can also add them.

i love how it ended but.. i really think lucifer was supposed to be with chloe, its just so sad ,she had to live so many years without him. after lucifer and chloe faught so hard to keep eachother safe all that for lucifer to leave ,ok good that she went back to him but that was after idk how many years

I didn't understand why he couldn't see upbringing of his daughter? He could fly every weekend at least?! Yeah his daughter asked not to change anything, but leaving Chloe alone is frantic gesture. They love each other, but she lived and died suffering naughty child.

I hated the whole Rory time traveling daughter storyline, it was dumb beyond belief (plus already done on OG Charmed and it was also stupid, nobody remembers Piper’s time traveling son who became his own mom’s white lighter to prevent his brother Wyatt from turning evil?). So Amenadiel is God and answering all of humanity’s prayers but can still check in on his son but Lucifer in hell is too busy being a therapist to a million wayward souls? Yeah that doesn’t pan out. I loved everything else about the final season minus the big plot line.

Well I’d love to see a few episodes with Lucifer being a father it would be hilarious

Hello again in April 2023! Nothing new yet, but the good news is everyone still wants to come back, with movies mostly (Tom also looks more positive than in 2021. I suppose because he was exhausted from filming in pandemic), and make more conventions, so that are good news, because some movies or shows they finish and nothing new (unless they make a new project together). I suppose James Gunn is the one who decides its future now, so, fingers crossed!

My husband and I had just started watching Lucifer 2 weeks ago and are already up to season 5 episode 14.. we haven't gotten to this episode yet. so I can't wait..I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SHOW..

I will never understand the rules DC (vertigo) follows over time travel! The decision he would do could alternate the end but yet Rory coming back to the past would not ? Like ????? Make it make sense. So Chloe has a point!

0:27 Chloe's being a bit unreasonable. We don't know why Lucifer leaves. It's likely beyond his control, not his "choice" to abandon them (at least as far as they know at this point).

I hate the ending, that he wasn't able to be here for Chloe and Aurora. It makes no sense. The consequence becoming the cause and vice versa is ridiculous. First, Lucifer doesn't need to be in Hell 24/7 to do his job, especially since time moves differently in hell. After saving Rory, he could have just stayed. If she didn't ask him to leave, the problem wouldn't be created in the first place. Lucifer would be here for his daughter and whatever she needed, and she wouldn't have to wait several decades to make up with him. It makes no sense she asked him to leave. It's so sad that Lucifer was forced to be separated from his family and didn't get to see his daughter grow up, without any good reason. Really disappointed by this ending. Still love the show tho.

Actually the time loop could be preserved if he acts like an absentee father. There every so often but not enough and not when she thinks she needs him the most, like Chloe's deathbed. She'd still get angry enough to travel back but still know him. Not enough for either of the but at least he'd be able to see her

One is an angel and another a Nephilim, absolutely different categories than humans. They have different purposes for their presence or absence anywhere. I don't like the writers. They left out some interesting characters related to the books. The Sandman, original Lady Death, Merlin, Michael's daughter. And Lucifer could've left Hell at anytime because the Sandman sometimes watches Hell for him. Read the books, they are hella more interesting.
