According to Tom Ellis and the Showrunners, Netflix wanted more seasons, but they decided finish it in S6 to no take risks again like in S3 on FOX, and time later they could reunite to make a sequel or a spin-off, or whatever they have in mind. They also said S5 and S6 had the same ending, but Rory was the difference. My theory is there are many loopholes because they didn't have too much time to explain everything (due to the pandemic). So, probably their idea was make an ambiguous ending, and come back time later to explain everything that happened during those 40 years. On The Flash we know how the Time Loops started, and, if we don't know why, there are hints to put the pieces together. On Lucifer it doesn't make any sense! There must be a big reason. Perhaps Lucifer died in the Original Timeline, and the Apocalipse started, because Lucifer couldn't be there, and Amenadiel wasn't God, or maybe he was, but he needed Lucifer's help, or the Apocalipse started for another reason (maybe Rory became the Antichrist, but I would prefer another reason), so the family sacrified their Timeline for a better ending. Some fans thought that maybe this Rory is from another Timeline, another Earth where Lucifer didn't change enough to be a mature man, so he abandoned his family (or he became God and he didn't know how to handle it). But it would be sad, because that means this Rory, who should be happy, will be as sad ad the one from another Universe, so I hope it is not the reason. Rumours say the Showrunners are making the script for a movie or a spin-off, and they hope Netflix accepts it.

I loved the idea of a Deckerstar Daughter, and I understood the Ending, but not the way they did it. So, like another fan said, I hope we see a sequel just after S6 Ending, where Lucifer helps Rory to handle all this revelation.

This was the best and we sre impatiently waiting for season 7 to see more good scenes like this one

Why didn't the immortality ring protect lucifer in season 1 when he died and went to hell, and god had to save him ?

"Rory, the tiny one inside you". Lucifer became a Dad, how beautiful is that? This moment, like the kiss from 5x15 and the ring from 5B, were like a wedding proposal. Chris Rafferty (one of the scriptwriters) said that now they have eternity, perhaps even for planning their wedding, so I wonder if it was a hint if a sequel happens.

The only thing about the scene that annoys me is that Chloe says I'll miss you honey. And Rory has to remind her. She's an angel And that she'll see her on the other side. Like duh. Chloe should know that. It would have been so much better if Chloe would have asked asked if Rory would see her on the other side. And Rory could have responded. Yes, I'll see you both referencing Lucifer. But whatever.

For everyone who keeps saying that he never actually kept it from her, I don't get your argument. Try thinking from a psychological perspective. Which rational person would straight up believe that a person in front of them is the biblical Satan? Their minds are not equipped to handle such facts, and it's like a natural form of denial, until Lucifer actually exhibits otherworldly proof of his identity like his devil face or his wings, which turns people's lives upside down as clearly seen in the show. The person claiming to be the devil could only continue to tell you his truth but is not supposed to show you absolute proof under normal circumstances (not sure If there's a particular criteria for that actually). Ella was able to figure it out because of the extremely weird things happening around her all of a sudden, (which turns out were caused by some of the angels) like the frog falling out of the sky, or the declining mosquito population which would have severely harmed the ecosystem. All those events may have caused her to go down a rabbit hole and reanalyze everything about her close circle of friends and realize some cold hard truths.

Only one Lying here is Ella, cause she was told the truth from the very beginning, then told again and again. What's she talking about "You all Kept it from me"

Did yall even watch the show? He flat out tells everyone ALL THE TIME, "I AM THE DEVIL" "THANK DAD" "DETECTIVE". he never held back on any of this. When people just started finally taking him seriously about it, this is how they responded

Her being so heartbroken and disappointed was one of the saddest storylines in Lucifer. Ella is one of my favorite characters.

Ella is great. It is sad that they waited until the last hairy moment to have the true believer know the truth. Also, lets face it, the truth has mentally scarred a few people in the show. Linda went almost catatonic, and Chloe nearly went insane. But at least she got to know before the series' end.

In my head, Trixie isn't at her mother's bedside because she's now in her 60's, and has her own life, like, halfway across the country, and she comes to visit once a month as her mother is ailing, knowing that Rory is taking care of their mom, and it happens that Chloe dies after Trixie's last visit has just ended. So, the relationship is still there, but she's not in this scene. That's my headcanon.

Yes, Lucifer “always tells the truth” but he was well aware that Ella didn’t think he was telling the truth and don’t bother correcting her. I still count that as being dishonest considering how much he cares about her.
