It's not super sharp it just has a ton of mass to cleave through anything. And they aren't using hamon because hamon is visible to the naked eye and we don't see it.

@@hjtutidarwati1042stand arrows are just the regular arrows that give stands, but the arrow with the beetle in part 5 is shown to give requiem stands, therefore a REQUIEM arrow. I think i like to believe that each arrow can give requiem stands, but The arrow is unique

@@painteddolphin0324 In part 5 Giorno already has a stand but then got stabbed by the Beetle Arrow giving him a Requiem Stand, but in part 4 Kira also already has a stand and then got stabbed by an arrow but it was just a normal Stand Arrow and because of that it only gave his stand another ability. By that I think you can either get a stand from your lineage or by both the Stand Arrows, but you'll get a stronger stand if you use the Beetle Arrow. And then if you want to get a Requiem Stand you'll have to get stabbed by a Beetle Arrow while already having a stand
