The logging one reminds me of the time we were going to see my dad at work and a rock fell out of a dump truck and shot through the windshield. Fortunately me and my brothers, who I think were only a year or so old, as well as my mom, were all ok as the rock went straight down the center between the seats.

My dad was working with his Dad on a car and while they were a electricity pole near them was struck with lightening and luckily the concrete was 60 feet deep or they would’ve died but as soon as it happened they rushed to the hospital and told the nurses what happened and they didn’t believe them because everyone that is hit by lightening usually never lives

My grampa once was on a phone call when he got struck by lightning and it went though his ear He lost his eyesight but survived. As time went on he got his eyesight back too. Edit: I’ve never gotten this many likes before

The reason Phineas Gage survived is because the bar hit the part of the brain that controls your personality so he lost his personality but after that Phineas got fired from his railroad job from his rudeness and started to work at a museum and showed how the rod went through his head and he charged 10 extra since for the person to move his hair and see the scar on the top off his head I'm learning about this in school rn so that's why I know all this.

@@athenac2696 For 1 thing...I think its abnormal for Brown Bears to attack & certainly EAT PEOPLE (correct me if I'm wrong)...and if people are likely (or even remotely possibly) going to come into contact with this bear in the future...it would be neglectful NOT TO kill it IMO. You want a dead bear or a dead human? I'm an animal lover...but I'd put a beast like that down in a heartbeat...you can't let man-eaters live.

fun fact: if people die from stuff like drowning, heart attack, heat stroke, etc. it is actually possible to revive them within a few minutes, drowning: rescue breaths + cpr, stuff like heart attack: cpr if its flatline, if its still alive but the rythm is literally useless then defibrillator

I survived by a half hour from freezing to death after being discovered by a passing train conductor. I passed out in the dead of winter next to the train tracks when I was 27. When I was discovered, my heart rate was two beats a minute and my breathing was two breaths a minute. Even though I was comatose when I was found, I ended up in a 17 day coma and survived two cardiac arrests during that time. With an internal body temperature of only 17 Celsius rescuers and doctors say not only was it a miracle I was still alive, but if it had been thirty minutes longer I would have for sure been dead.

With the lady who froze to death, I've heard of similar circumstances where if you're going to drown, it's better to drown in freezing cold water because apparently the low temperature should help delay brain damage and it should be very possible to be resuscitated.

I saw a video of the Joplin Missouri tornado and this one kid was in her dad's truck when it hit. A metal bar went straight through her and yet she survived with minimal injuries, she wasn't even paralyzed.
