I’ve dug 36 privy’s in a row now with nothing worth showing on video. I’ve got others lined up only time will tell if a video will be made of them. Tons of permissions I’ve already gotten really privies around here are not that exciting . The dumps have been doing much better even if they are late throws. Plus you knows where 90% of the privy clean outs ended up?? In the dumps

Yes it was in fact an old dumpsite for several occupations. They used it for 30-40 years goes down nearly 10 ft in some places.

Great question and here is the answer. They made them intentionally with hobnails, or sharp lines so that the occupant could feel the bottle in low light conditions and recognize that it was a poison. Before 1930s there was no electricity just oil lamps which didn’t do the best job lighting things up. So they made poison bottles specifically like that so if you were looking for your medication you would not mistakenly ingest poison and die.

That’s awesome I did not realize that I have quite a few cobalts in several different sizes but as of now no poison I suppose bunch of different sized cobalts around Maine. Thank you.
