This was by far the best anime in 2023 and so far in 2024 nothing else comes close. This show was something else... I pray there is a season 2 because this series have immense potential. I miss frieren's party ❤️

I would recommend y'all to watch it. This anime isn't about depression at all, It's about overcoming it and appreciate what you have currently. Also the plot, music, action sequences are very well-done. Y'all are missing out on a amazing show if you haven't watched it yet

Too sad that because of 1000 years of apathetic, asocial lifestyle she couldn’t realise the importance of her party and the time they spending together during the 10 year adventure. Yeah, she changed a little bit after 50 years of travelling and collecting spells (I think, that she was doing it unconsciously - somewhere deep down Himmel was already special for her, she just needed more time to realise it herself. Himmels death was something like speedrun for realising it, that there is no time for another 50 or 100 years, it’s over. That’s why even after Himmels death she wasn’t sure about her feelings. Realisation happened too suddenly.
