@@Nezul In terms of the gacha itself, it's two things: First, literally gambling addiction. Second, the desire to collect. But beyond that, actually good gacha games that get popular typically also have at least SOME of the hallmarks of good non-gacha games: good characters and stories, fun/interesting gameplay, satisfying progression/reward structures, etc. I play Nikke myself and yeah I checked it out for the TnA, but I stuck around because it has some of the best characters I've seen in anything in a long time, and the story is typically excellent (translation is mid though lol) Also the music bangs

I know you kinda talked about it during this stream, but I really do hope that you play Automata with us on stream at some point and actually do the side quests for lore. There's a hell of a lot of story here, and I think you'll both enjoy and maybe be a bit traumatized by it.

I love when new people play this game for the first time. This game is so fun for more than the obvious reasons. Also good luck getting A2 in a few days. Also, Lucy, play Blue Archive for even more adorable chibis. And its a shame you missed out on the April Fools event in Nikke, all of the L2D models normally used were swapped for their chibis for combat and it was adorable.
