I grew up adoring her and then just a few months ago I was seated next to her at a theatre show and I didn't even know it lol. She was talking to my friend and I was just in between them as they caught up and she said 'I'm so sorry to have a conversation over you like this!'. It wasn't until later that my friend told me who it was! Kinda glad I didn't know at the time lol.

I saw a lot of Xena, not physically, but episodes, although her outfit did show us a lot of Xena. Lucy Illegal- I mean Lawless, really owned the character.

I grew up totally being in love with Lucy Lawless and Xena, lucky I didn't have a car or I would have been some crazy fan hanging around outside the filming sets. Years later, they had a big auction for a lot of the set equipment, less than an hour's drive from my parent's house. I got really angry with my Dad, because he had promised to drive me to the auction so I could bid on something - I had saved up so much! But Dad just messed about that day, pretending that he never knew I wanted to go, even though I kept reminding him that we will be late, and I missed it. I was so angry with him, and didn't talk to him again for ages, weeks and weeks. Sad thing was, I really wanted Xena's sword, and I found out afterwards that it went for about half what I was prepared to pay. It didn't go for much at all, surprisingly. Whoever has that sword today, is so lucky!
