The episode was indeed hinting that the year in lucy's mom grave relates to the dragons in some way

You are right though. The grave just says the Year of Birth to Year of the Passing. She really died at the year X777 the same year the dragons "disappeared".

And people are saying Lucy isn't a strong character. She might not be able to beat boss level threat but she faced her trauma head on and made clear she won't allow anyone to mess with Fairy Tail, not even her dad. Mashima is great when it comes to writting good female character that matters to the story, with heartbreaking meaning to their own series. Elie, Lucy and Rebecca are models, that's for sure.

Yes definitely it's bad if you watch the new trailer, it spoils alot but I doubt if you guys don't do it off cam, but maybe watch the trailer after the oracion seis arc

This episode is so satisfying. One of the best moments in Fairy Tail. I envy everyone who can watch this the first time without knowing what happens. So much great feelings. But I am also glad I could what this years ago the first time. I will never regret having started this show. And those moments are the reason why.

I cant wait to see your reactions on that scene with her dad. That scene BROKE me! But still way longer ahead tho 🤣 Also I dont think he's happy. Kinda looks like he's actually sad to let go of Lucy. Character like her dad is always like, "you remind me of your mother whom I loved so much and I miss her every time I see you thats why I treated you like a trash" kinda vibe.

I've rewatched Fairy Tail 4 times and watched Fairy Tail reactions many times. I come to the conclusion that Fairy Tail's early arcs are much better.

@@MC-bv7ni Yes, its kinda better made. No exaggerated fan service and not exaggerated power of friendship. This early arcs were full of beautiful backstories and showed to us in a perfect way what family means for Fairy Tail. Galuna for Gray, Phantom for Lucy, Battle of Fairy Tail for Laxus, Loke arc, Tower of Heaven for Erza and son on.. Tenrou as well shows a lot the abilities of many members.

@@alksmusic6188 Fairy Tail really had the capacity to surpass One Piece and Naruto. It's a very good series with a very good universe and powers. The potential was very high

@@MC-bv7niit surpassed Naruto, what are you talking about. Kishimoto is actively regressing with every new chapter, where 100 Years Quest is probably the best Fairy Tail Mashima wrote, alongside the first few arcs.

@@alksmusic6188the thing is - I disagree that later arcs didn't have meaningful and beautiful stories. Zero was super cute. Sun Village was pretty emotional, especially before the actual fights started. GMG/Eclipse was fun and Tartaros was high stakes, both with major lore implications and reveals. It only really fell flat with the finale, which isn't a finale anymore. Mercphobia was really solid, White arc was extremely fresh and had a lot of tension. Gold arc was suprisingly emotional as well and now Ignia arc feels super hype - and hopefully delivers the best fights of the series.

0:40 I don't think a single theme in Fairy Tail was bad. Including openings and endings. Even if they are more mellow or simple, they usually go for unusual instruments, meaningful lyrics or direct cultural reference/unique music style. 0:50 The continent/country the action in Fairy Tail is taking place now is broadly based on Europe btw. that's why some music, buildings and clothes are very European. So all the flutes, choirs and as you mentioned a lot of stylised music that gives that medieval/fantasy vibe. 2:40 Numerology is also reference to like Western and Mediterranean culture. Seven is - the luckiest number and here we have five of them. 5:45 It was mentioned few times - fighting between guilds is highly illegal, for some specific reasons you'll learn later on.

Out there, Many people complain about the annoying FT power of friendship but FT doesn't heavily focus on power levels.. instead it's the characters' development and narration of the characters who find solace in place where people who are broken/abandoned/disowned/adopted/grieved/longed for love/mistreated etc are accepted despite personal traumas.

8:39 -- Just to clear a (probable) misunderstanding: in the Japanese language, the borrowed English word "feminist" is very often used in the meaning "cavalier" or "gentleman". _(Or "chivalrous" if used as an attribute.)_ In this context, it should have been translated as "gentleman" and not as "feminist", as it's often wrongly translated in manga and anime.

Yess please keep uploading more so that you catch up to the 100 years really quick...okay about the trailer...just watch it bro!! There's no much big spoiler revealed except for what is the quest actually is and yall will see there's two new characters in Natsu's team...you will be seeing them for the first time in the next arc which is called Oracion Seis arc (currently you're at Battle of Fairy Tail with Laxus as the main villain am i right) i think you will see them at episode 52/53 i guess...but you might already got teased of the next arc in the opening so i dont see big problem to watch the trailer...you can hold back urself from watching it at least until u finish the oracion seis arc or just watch if u want to.. it's not a big deal + you might be forgetting about it later since yall are still far behind the ending of the main series

328 episodes of original series and 100-200 episodes for the sequel. They should catch up to upcoming season in 164 weeks, 41 months, around 3.4 years. And they likely will release more every now and then. I mean it is super long series - we knew this would happen when they started. Watch other reactors who are catch up - let them watch in their own pace, so they don't burn out.
