One of her greatest performances. Oh wait, they are all great so where do we go from there. I don’t know but I do know that this young lady has a voice for the ages. We have been blessed. Wow! She just needs three notes to show how good she is and catch you. I also think she improves a lot of the songs she sings. This song is a great hard rock ballad, she makes it her own and the result is at least outstanding. Great singer definitely. I hadn't heard this version of Lucy and I was impressed...and those high notes at the end...wow! ...you already said: "so pure." Thanks again. 👏👋

It's interesting that you think of it as a "male" song? An iconic song, but it was written for the movie by Diane Warren, specifically for Celine Dion. Unfortunately Celine was unavailable to record at the time. I believe Stephen Tyler of Aerosmith was 4th person they approached to record it.
