Give him the option of Podolia since the country usually doesn't exist. Also QQ would be challenging with the Wakandans near and the Ottos in direct neighbourhood. Great format btw. Keep on the great work!

A merchant collecting in home node often adds more ducats than transferring from upstream due to the added trade power (+2 base trade power and +10% trade efficiency in that node). This is less true if you are using inland trade nodes as merchants enable caravan trade power purely by being present in that node. Corrections welcome.

i guess the republic mechanic is sortition? I love it actually, i usually take a young leader and level them up to 6/6/6 then change the government reform to sortition, and they will rule for life with +25% life expectancy. They usually live until mid 70-s, so basically a free 20 years of a 6/6/6 ruler for 50 gov reform, then switch back to frequent elections to get a new leader.

I recommend an Italian nation for a more stable option but one of the two Qoyunlu would make a better episode because there he has to face the Ottomans, the Mamluks, the Timurids (strong) and Wakanda also not far away.

Ducal Prussia is historical accurate and it is not whatever they added, a member of the Brandenburg-Ansbach branch of the house Hohenzollern, Alber became Grand Master, where his skill in political administration and leadership ultimately succeeded in reversing the decline of the Teutonic Order. But Albert who was sympathetic to the demands of Martin Luther, rebelled against Roman Catholic Church and HRE by converting Teutonic state into a protestant and hereditary realm, the Duchy of Prussia,for which he paid homeage to his uncle Sigismund I, King OF Poland.That arrangement was confirmed by treaty of Krakow in 1525, Albert pledged a personal oath to the king and in return was invested with the duchy for himself and his heirs. Duchy of Prussia was Poland vassals state, the first state in Europe which became protestant, and now it's in game and that must be done a long time ago. And how i said it is not whatever they added, it is history.

Yeah the Otto’s seem to take forts out like they aren’t there in the early game now. I’m doing a Castile run that is going insanely well with PUs over Portugal, Aragon, Naples and a super powerful Burgundy, along with an alliance with a Chad Austria. Went to war w/Otto as they were allied with Morocco. All of my sieges went over 50%, many over 70%. Ottos walked into every full strength fort and started at plus 5%, and took most of them on the first tick. They weren’t even speed bumps.

Unrelated but had an idea, native tribe into republic for indegenous+plutocratic, then switch to noble elite to get aristocratic and flip to theocracy to get divine ideas. Tried it with Sioux because they have dev cost idea but got kinda bored+confused by tribal mechanics

Im doing a Switzerland run, it's the most OP country I've ever played. VH, every nation except ottoman and Russia is in a coalition against me, and I win without allies. 150k mercs + mountain forts > 2m coalition. Didn't even need any military ideas. Can't run out of manpower, money or mana.
