I had a friend (emphasis on the "had"). He got on my nerves a lot, but I stayed by his side while he battled depression. He got me very upset one night and argued with me back and forth then said "I'm high af right now". He tried to explain later that it was him trying to change the topic. To me, it was an excuse for his behavior and not a good one. In the words of my weed smoking boyfriend; "You don't turn into another person when high. Your actions don't change so drastically."
