I am the victim of rape and I am presently in my 70’s. I have never told my parents nor did I tell the police. It is humiliating even though I was an underaged minor at the time of the rape. It is a travesty and everybody is different in the way people handle trauma.

Cassie age 19, a budding singer, Diddy 37, a music exec. Even after a decade she’s just 29.. So much to be said for their age difference and circumstances. I’m happy she became strong enough for an exodus and redemption to the tune of 30 million. Bravo!

I'm almost 40 and till this day i never told my parents i was raped from the age of 4 (as young as i can remember) all they up until the age of 11 when i developed some courage to say NO! It's humiliating and feel like it's your fault. Ashamed for letting it happen. My parents just thought i was a good and quiet kid but little did they know... As a teen i helped other victims get out and passed the courage on... There's some sick ppl out there. That's why I'm so over protective with my kids.
