Apoo's ability automatically tracks onto the enemy. Even if Luffy used his future sight. It wouldnt do anything.

It is literally future sight bro. What should be happening logically is luffy foreseeing the explosion, trying to react, dodge it and still getting hit by it. Then he shouldn't be knocked up by it for multiple seconds, because luffy is way beyond tanky. But hey, it's oda who decides.

I remember when I watched these couple episodes when they came out I thought to myself that has got to be some of the shittest episodes of one piece I can remember apart from the ending - a big part of it was not just Apoos annoying ability but the fact that proper OST wasn’t being used and it was just apoos weird crappy music that doesn’t even sound good, the episodes felt totally empty
