Epic Monkey purposely skipping calculations, ignoring feats that they proceed to mention in the cast, ignoring some of their research in the actual fight, Wario-Man taking damage, and Wario not turning into puffy Wario instead of dying.

LukeW I don’t get any of your reasons. Most come down to simply not having enough time to fit all those in a 20 minute video, and rather simplifying it. They would explain it if they had the QnA take place a week later than it did, which only started for the fight after Wario vs D3. And the arguments like “Wario Man can’t take damage” are so stupid honestly. Don’t really get your puffy Wario thing. He gets like that when stung by Bee’s. Literally blowing up from the inside wouldn’t make you puffy. It would make you dead. Luigi vs Tails on the other hand, had all those things you mentioned but worse. So I don’t you think Wario vs D3 is the worst and NOT Luigi vs Tails.

Epic Monkey they can fit all of it in a 20 minute video, it would be slightly longer but still. Also if I have to explain Wario man further I can, I don’t see what’s so “stupid” about it. Wario Man is a form that makes Wario invincible and immune to damage and attacks, also puffy Wario doesn’t happen only because of bee stings, it can happen from other causes like being inflated. Also Wario killed himself by using his waft. And since the Gordo Blocked it he died, but it would inflate his head. Also they would’ve said that Wario also survived the blackhole too in the comment section if they just found out about it. Let’s not turn this into a further argument and leave it at that.

I love and appreciate Tails way better than Green Plumber Boy from Nintendo! :D

I have to agree here. For me rewatching this Death Battle after seeing the rematch of Mario and Sonic makes see there is a lot more problems with this fight and to an extent the first Mario vs Sonic fight in particular. First off the circumstances: Yes i get that these were set to Donkey Kong and Knuckles and the rematch too, but here it feels like Luigi's arsenal was limited and pretty much gave Tails the advantage from the start. I feel as though this stuff is contradictory since when would Tails have all of these machines and gadgets on him since if all these fights are done with no prep time? Luigi doesn't have that many items of his own outside of what is listed here so it feels like he wasn't even at his full potential since like Mario he can carry many powerups on him at one time with the exceptions of things like the Golden Tanooki Leaf. Then there's the feats: By far this is the biggest problem with this fight. The researchers say Tails is stronger... except the footage they used from Tails's Patrol it shows him struggling to move while lifting the ten ton rock and use Luigi's ability to struggle lift a large radish from Super Mario Bros 2, a game which was all a dream that Mario had, as an example. Even though later on in the rematch between Mario and Sonic they say measured the castle that Mario lifted and punted in Super Mario World weighted 61 million tons. And the thing is that Luigi is capable of doing the same thing since he's playable in Super Mario World, so that immediately debunks analysis of Tails having the strength advantage. Hell Luigi can pretty much be scaled to Mario in almost every category other than strength. Durability and speed being the biggest examples. True Tails could outsmart Luigi given his cowardice nature and no doubt Tails has the speed advantage but even so it was just explained in the rematch that all Luigi would need to is get in close to deal a deadly blow. And with the Negative Zone it can be done. At least with the first battle they explained at that in a no power-up scenario Sonic can take the match from Mario and ko him. But with power-ups in the mix Luigi's arsenal will triumph over Tail's gadgets. This fight however, the results are not accurate. Whenever i give Death Battle flak for an episode i never blame Whiz or Boomstick as their only mere characters in this show. It's researchers who i call out for being biased or not doing enough research on a certain character. This has even happened when i think the results are correct (i.e Jotaro vs Kenshiro). Sorry if i'm typing out a lot on here but i feel i needed to convey my example of why this fight was so flawed and given the updated research done on the rematch of Mario and Sonic it makes this fight look even worse. I can forgive the first fight with them since that at least explained that without powerups Sonic pretty much takes the win, but here it's not the case.

I could understand pre-DIO Jotaro losing, but even after the nerf he took in Part 4, he can still stop time, and assuming he's not toying around, which is implied by one of DB's rules, all he'd need to do is stop time for 2 seconds and do Kenshiro like he did Kira, maybe worse since he's allowed to kill in this match.

@@espurrseyes42 The issue was whether Jotaro would be able to land a deadly first or would Kenshiro be able to get in close enough to deal the killing blow first. In most circumstances Jotaro would be faster but he wouldn't be able to use Star Platinum to deal a killing blow cause the durability on Kenshiro is greater than Jotaro's. True Star Platinum wouldn't be harmed by Kenshiro's attacks since people without stands cannot harm stands. But Kenshiro would be able to see Star Platinum and just use clones to distract Jotaro in order to get in close for one hit.
