We didn't see Brobot. The robotic Mario mech a hypnotized Luigi built him self. Luigi is smart in his own right. This is one of the few battles where i 100% feel they got it wrong

Luigi would probably win thanks to all the power scaling bullshit now. I love Tails but he's inferior to Sonic unlike Luigi who's shown to be Mario's equal numerous times. It doesn't help that Tails hasn't been a playable character in a 3d Sonic game for more than a decade now.

@@SonicSwift99 Eh, doubt. The advantages that Tails had in this fight, minus strength, hasn't really changed imo. Tails should still be several times faster than Luigi, obviously is still much, much smarter, and the whole "Mario powerups and Sonic powerups" is BS considering the super forms should trump Mario's invincibility powerups. I'm pretty sure the super forms last longer than Mario's invincibility powerups usually do, and they give more significant buffs to the sonic characters. I love death battle, but videogame sonic characters have been substantially low balled ever since they decided That super/hyper sonic and starman/giga mushroom cancel each other out.

@@phoenixwright784 Yeah, in the last games from Sonic we've even seen that he can stay for days in Super Form, meaning that the limited time is only a gameplay mechanic, and it would apply to all Super Forms, including Tails (and Tails helped defeat Metal Madness, who was empowered by the f****ng DNA of Chaos, who is the source of Chaos Energy).

(SPOILERS) This was before their rematch on episode 100 (with the rule of them only using the video game versions of each character). During their first match in season 1, Sonic beat Mario which is consistent with the end result here. Besides, just because a character comes from the same series doesn’t mean they’re guaranteed a win or a loss.

@@adnan_honest_jihadist5775 No essay thank you. I personally disagree that the first one is 100% accurate, since they included Archie Comics in the analysis. It wasn’t a fair matchup at the time. I think the 2nd one is more fair given that they only use video games and closely tied media, like the 1999 Sonic movie and the Super Mario Bros Super Show. I only wish they mentioned some of Sonic’s reaction time feats so that we could accurately see how they compare to Mario’s. I still believe that the 2nd one is correct, based on the video game versions of the characters. But who knows, maybe Sonic got a buff in Frontiers? It seems more combat focused. Either way, I’m not looking to make this into a debate. I know you will likely disagree with me, and that’s ok. I’m just gonna leave my thoughts here and go.

@@HB-fq9nn where did i type that the first one is 100% accurate? i never did but its more accurate then the 2nd one bcs they lowballed super and hyper sonic a lot but also even base sonic. fair yes accurate no first one is more accurate but less fair both should be used tho fairness and accuracy but death battle lacks either 1 of them in each of their videos sometimes. not only that they lowballed his speed overall and his strenght too i can type an essay on the true speed and strenght of sonic which death battle is probably never gonna show. you probably do bcs you either favour mario over sonic or you only like mario. no even before frontiers he was very fast and strong you just dont research enough. you dont want debate yet you type false things.
