Nah in a post game interview he said if they didn’t get the switch he wanted (Gobert) he was going for the tie. The fact that he even wanted him and felt that comfortable to take that shot isn’t DPOY material. Fr. It's been so painful as a Mavs fan past 5 years seeing the same problems each year - terrible interior scoring and rim protection, and each year we do next-to-nothing to change that. Dwight Powell's a nice guy who tries his best but I hope to God I never have to watch him play again and that Gafford and Lively stay for the long term

The experience factor is coming into play massive in my eyes. How the teams execute their offense down the stretches of games 1 and 2 have been so different, and you have to give it to Dallas doing it better just cause they have been there.

i think kyrie does really well when he has a facilitator like luka. bron did the same thing that’s why they were so good. unfortunately he didn’t wanna be the sidekick to bron. but now he’s matured and has taken that role with arms open. which is why i think him and luka play so well together. kyrie knows when to let luka cook and orchestrate the offense. but he can also obviously get his own buckets too. not to mention kyrie is a super underrated playmaker.
