A story can surprisingly turn positive when two souls are born again and have reverance for wanting to live according to God's Scripture. Songs can indeed be prayers for the lost souls to help them be part of God's purposes and plans.The command of God is to be an instrument of gospel to save souls for His glory. Songwriting which is derived from scripture is a special gift to the world.

What is it you do? You take a song by someone else and even though you respect the author, you somehow manage to make it sound like a beautiful song composed by you. Your gift is your voice, that's what makes the song different and unique. The way you give yourself to the lyrics, the emotion you exude and the strength of character you have, all come together and hey presto, a Lukas Nelson classic. Beautiful song, superbly sung and as always please keep writing and singing. As stated by others, don't make this the end.

You have "The Gift", as Johnny Cash said his mother told him when he was very young. But Lucas you have the whole package, you remind me so much of your dad but you have a way that is all your own. I absolutely love this song and have for many many years, but when you play, and sing this song it melts my heart, I would love to hear you sing another favorite of mine, You lay a whole lotta love on me, by Con Hunley. Sad song written by a brilliant man!✌🏼😎👌👏👏😇 It makes me cry! Two people died this week. My college buddies child killed himself 4,days ago. Anthony the sweetest kid! Why oh why? My brother in law died from bone cancer stage four! He fought so hard to live. The strongest man I've ever known except for my papa. Air Force guy, and successful farmer. Lukas your future is going to be so brilliant, bright you will have to wear shades Mr.😎👏😘

Hi.i was not a country music listener, (but I loved old western music and swing) but if I wanted to spend time with my momma, well then she always had her radio set on the. KFDI CLASSIC radio station.(so I got to hear a lot of oldies) I think I heard this a time or two. Don't know who it was by. But thank you, it's a beautiful song..and I enjoyed listening to you preform it... My appoligse if it's one of your dads( who as a non country music person I did and still do like) As I said, beautiful, and made me think of my momma with a happy thought. I won't say how good you are doing it ( but of course you are lol) But I'll just say, " NICE"...
