There are two sides to this. On one hand, Beveridge is frustrated and his attitude is unbecoming of himself and his football club, ironically making himself disgraced in the process of accusing a journalist of the same thing. On the other hand, it is commendable that his action to stand up against biased reporting results in exposing the reporter for his previous actions. I personally believe that although he may have gone about making his point with slightly more decorum, Luke Beveridge is in fact, in the right to call out reporting bias. Enough is enough, the masses don't want click bait, and clubs are sick of being harassed. Obviously the true irony of this situation is that Beveridge is taking aim at the very industry that will retell this story; in their own light... so I do hope people can see through the fact that intrinsically there will be another bias featured on reporting this very story itself, and that Luke is in actual fact, not incorrect. Please note, I am not a Western Bulldogs supporter, but am a supporter of free speech and democracy.

Journalism continues to sink to murkier depths and it takes a man like Bevo to call out this self-serving behaviour which generates clicks in preference to integrity, respect and support for the game and its people. Tom Morris was called out and then the karma gods struck him. Thank you Bevo for opening this important discussion about what it means to be a decent journalist and citizen and we can only hope that people like Tom and the muck-rackers (Caro, Damo, Robbo, Browny (both of them), Chompers, Garry, Eddie, Sam and the rest of them) do some self reflection and re-alignment of their moral compasses.
