Luke Littler avenged his World Championship final defeat by beating Luke Humphries 11-7 to lift the Premier League. The teenager is now the youngest winner of a PDC Major and hit a nine-darter in the final - his fourth this year!

Luke is a REAL credit to the world of darts ... even in this interview how calm and controlled he is ... how he keeps it together on that stage with the thousands behind him plus the many thousands watching online is way beyond me. Many congratulations Luke Premier League Champion.

Everything he says is just so professional, the answers he gives , for his age, are just so mature. Especially what he said about his mum and dad and not being able to thank them enough. The way he comes across when he interacts with media is amazing given his age.

MvG has been dethroned, lol. He knew it might happen, and he was rightfully scared of it. It will take a lot from the current players to step up to the "Lukes" level, but I don't think many have the heart for it. A new generation is rising in the world of darts.

There will be far more "Luke Littlers" in the near future, the development and the increase in output and performance will go on and on, till to this level, where mathematically no more progression is possible. Then, the goal will be, to throw a 9-10-11-12-Darter first, before your opponent does it.
