Great podcast , we need more and more of Scotland to sign the Independent Enquiry , this is shameful on so many levels , bring resolve for all and put the case to an independent unbiased test , its the best outcome for everybody , this was a wee guy he might not be all of our cup of teas but the treatment of one of our young people by the media and the police is nothing less than deplorable as the high court appeal judge stated , their own police officer at trial stated the investigation was a "shambles". Not one single piece of forensic evidence from the crime scene or on him , so no incriminating blood found on his body, clothes , nails , hair not a single drop of Jodi blood on him or his home , 3 TIMES THEY SEARCHED . I hope the media of 22 start to support this the right way , that 14 year old boy who was villa vied, emotionally, mentally attacked by the media , its never to late to find your voice and speak the truth about this case to the public , it really is time to right a wrong. Don't worry his life is totally damaged forever because of those lies but to stand by this shambles of a police investigation its wrong , its time to stand up for Jodi and finish this , test the evidence , test the case bring all of this to a close for the sake of peace and relief also , would it not be great to know definitively what the forensic analysis of 2022 can uncover now , I think after 18 years we owe it to that wee lassie to be sure .✌✌⚖⚖

This is the best podcast I've watched on this case. I've known Scott for many years, we've spent hours talking about this case. I'll admit I believed Luke was guilty at the time. My opinion changed once I had the facts. There are many miscarriages of justice but this had to be one of the worst in Scotland. A child brutally lost her life and another child lost so many of his, due to gross negligence. I've no words to describe how strongly I believe Luke Mitchell's conviction is unjust. Scott will not stop until justice is served and I truly hope its sooner rather than later.

I’m a convicted killer ( which I am not proud of) and I know the ins and outs of murder trials and investigations. Although my own crime is not involving a female and not high profile, so to speak, the evidence,gathering of , and trial techniques are all the same. This case is not safe and if it there is anything questionable this again. I have been in the same prison as this boy ( now man) and the overwhelming consensus of prisoners ( in mainstream ) believe him to be innocent which is very unusual. This whole thing stinks of a fit up.

Luke Mitchell is absolutely 💯 Innocent. Only went after Luke from the very start . Shocking miscarriage of justice. I think it could have been Joseph Jones.

The jury in this case should be held accountable in this case too. This was a trial by media. I would love to conact this lawyer and give my opinion on this case. I have extensive knowledge and experience in this area and spent 23 years in prison and have followed the case for many years and always believed ( impartially) that this guy is innocent.

There has been break through in the case. We go into Scottish Parliament tomorrow with a petition with 25,000 signatures. We have secured the services of the top KC and the Sun tabliod on Thrusday will high light a missing Bowie knife that was found in a skip close the murder scene, a knife similar to a suspect that worked at the garage were the knife was found. The knife was never disclosed to the defense or forensically examined

A really good podcast,what a absolute shame for a 14 year old kid and his family to get their life’s ruined like this.For the sake of everyone involved in the case I really hope and pray the killer or killers of Jodi are found and justice served.This shouldn’t be happening in the Scotland I want to live in.

It never needed to at all end up being a complicated story. Some day it will be a bizarre movie.

The logical conclusion concerning the mother is that if Luke is guilty then his mother helped him. Why then has there been no conviction under either attempting to defeat the ends of justice or acting part laws? This is nonsense.

Years a lad will never ever ever get back or maybe even the chance to be on the outside with his mum again is so so sad , but one thing that can be done is fight to his JUSTICE ! never seen anything so curupt in my life I hope one day between Sandra & Scott ext ext they will have this lad his FREEDOM & JUSTICE WILL BE SHOWN. 🙏 the biggest MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE EVER TO BE KNOWN !!!

What's interesting is that now two former police officers (who now work as private investigators) raise numerous questions about the case, including the lack of forensic evidence linking Mitchell to the crime. DNA from two other men was found at the crime scene - while Luke’s DNA was absent - and also claims that leads on five other suspects were never followed up.

It's really worrying that the real culprit is still on the loose followed by the reasons why.

So sad the young life lost of a wee girl, then the life taken of another child in jail. This case needs an independent review. It makes no sense any off it. I believe after watching all this Luke is innocent

Jesus christ auld boy, let the guest talk haha! Sitting there chokeing to say somthing and keep cutting the guy off! Understand its your show and you have to keep it somewhat on track, but you can tell the guy is emotionally invested in such a major major case that nobody has listened to for 2 decades and is trying to get 20 years of info across in an hour, and people are here for the interviewee remember!
