Hokkaido is undoubtedly the best place in the world to eat seafood! Not only are the crabs huge, but the scallops are also the biggest I have ever seen! Hokkaido should be the only place in the world that sells cantaloupe slices! The weather there is very suitable for growing high-grade fruits! I hope you will continue to travel and introduce us to the cuisines of various countries. Thank you for sharing! Happy travel! 👍🤩🙌 P.S. Sorry to watch this video now because of a cold!

The stations are connected like this because of the winter snow. The economic center of sapporo is located between sapporo station and susukino and the more important buildings can be reached from this underground walkway which goes under one of the main streets of Sapporo.

Hiya. The melon is called “Rock Mellon” hear in Australia. Mostly juicy and soft. Honey Dew (green mellon) not so. The orange in the bi-valve mussel (sea scallop) we call “roe.” My understanding is that no not eggs for spawning, something to do with reproduction. Liver or kidney texture but the best part to me. ❤

Totally confused on the price of a hairy crab. The tank sticker says 3,000 yen per 100g, the vendor said 40,000 yen for the crab you were holding and your bill came out 5,940 yen for the crab weighing 480g. So, how much on average a 500g hairy crab cost in this market?

Unripe melon is crunchy and inedible. Properly ripe melon is extremely soft, sweet and juicy. They pick them unripe so they stay fresher on the shelf. But its a shame.

Unfortunately crabs and lobsters are able to feel pain, anxiety and stress and so on. So throwing them into boiling water without any anesthesia is really cruel since the death can take up to 7 minutes. In Switzerland, lobsters can no longer be thrown into boiling water without anesthesia. Hope it will establish in other countries as well..
