How would the same car accident be described in over 15 completely different styles of English? 🚗 📄 What are the differences in vocabulary, grammar and organisational structure? How should I change my voice to read each description? Let's see how English changes in different situations. Styles presented include: formal and informal English, news reports, an action movie screenplay, an Eminem rap, a romantic novel, a Shakespeare play, a politician making a speech, a stand-up comedian, Liam Neeson in the film Taken, and Luke in an episode of Luke's English Podcast. Tremendous idea to emphasis the different vocabulary in different situations,.its not only to learn the language, much more of someone's to elaborate ,the variety of language scenarios. No doubt merely a great teacher can do it who has a great passion about his profession. Its a fascinating idea for all teachers. No word's to appreciate this idea ,so amazing. Thanks

Wow! It's truly a remarkable source of entertainment to immerse oneself in such diverse styles of English. Just for the sake of amusement, I inserted the prompt "A summer day written in a ....'s style." The first attempt took on a Shakespearean tone, resulting in a lovely sonnet that I yearned to commit to memory. The subsequent Dickensian piece showcased a magnificent art of storytelling, reminiscent of the works of Charles Dickens himself. If you were to search diligently, you might stumble upon a similar passage in any of his beloved novels, ranging from "Barnaby Rudge" to "Martin Chuzzlewit" and beyond, including the timeless "Pickwick Papers." The Roald Dahl-inspired composition captured the essence of his unique writing style flawlessly. I adored it. Lastly, the Le Carré style, despite the cheerful backdrop of a summer day, transported us into an atmosphere brimming with thrilling espionage and the anticipation of unfolding drama..

Hi, Luke. What an interesting episode. I really enjoyed it. Especially the parts where you imitated politicians, Liam Neeson. I told you before that your imitation is amazing. I'm usually the person who is really hard to make laugh, but your imitation always gets me. Always. Please, do it more. Do an episode just in Boris Johnson's voice, or Trump's or Liam Neeson, Arnold Schwarzenegger (aye aye aye). Thank you for producing this great episode.
