Imagine if MMA fighters interviewed this well and were as willing to take action to improve their pay. Maybe PFL would've learned how to promote by now, and we wouldn't be applauding the UFC brass for their cutthroat business practices while pocketing 87% of the revenue and leaving half their roster to find part-time jobs as supposed professional athletes.

For me, the female GOAT is between Ffion Davies and Bia Mesquita. I'm not decided yet.

I am a very casual grappling fan and have been for awhile. I have just learned of Ffion a little while ago but she is definitely a badass as far as female grapplers go. I did not know she was as decorated as she is and that she can be considered the baddest of the badasses. My point is when it comesnto pay, I am not entitled to equal pay as my counterpart if it is my counterpart that is the reason for the eyeballs being on us. This argument about women getting the same pay as men is so boring at this point. Whether it is the WNBA or BJJ it boils down to who is bringing in the fans. That's like me saying I deserve the same pay as Gordon Ryan because we are both black belts doing the same thing so why shouldn't we be paid the same. I feel that people that make this argument pick and choose when the truth is applicable. I appreciate that she wants women to make more money; in fact, all grapplers, aside from Gordon, deserve a huge pay raise, but again, it boils down to who puts the buts in the seats. Just because you are the best at something doesn't mean you are entitled to make a lot of money doing it. Again, as a casual fan I barely know who Ffion is.

I loved me some women's mma in the UFC but for me it has gone down the crapper. Few top female fighters retired and Rose moving up in weight and not looking so great etc... Its like women's mma is fading with no big stars except for Wei Lei and she is not fighting as much as she use too.

Watching Luke attempt to bring the IBJJF into the discussion whenever possible is strange. For someone who is supportive of increased MMA fighter pay it's weird how I've never seen him speak against the IBJJF (lack of) good athlete pay - despite actually being insanely profitable.

How much does adcc payout to put in all those trials worldwide it can’t be cheep. It’s kind of crazy complaining about the pay when winning it or Evan come in third will change your life as long as you want it.
