It’s such a great game the graphics are awesome, the story is so well made, the emotion is pure, the areas are amazing it all makes one amazing game and I love it I rate this game 11/10

Offically, the gender is up to interpretation. But developers have occasionally used he/him to refer to Ori in interviews and such. Ori can be a girl if you want. But offically, they have repeatedly answered that Ori's gender is ambiguous, unclear, up to the player.

There is hollow knight, a game that many people consider to best metroidvania ever made. However I think hollow knight and ori and the will of the wisps are both masterpieces and are one of the best games I have ever played in terms of music,art, gameplay and content. There is also no part of these two games that are bad, it is all consistent quality content. No other metroidvania has come close to the quality of these two games and there is the upcoming hollow knight silksong might reach the hights of these two games but we'll have to wait and see if would happen or not.

@@Gsija964 i tried Hollow Knight and actually got a bit far into the game (3rd or 4th boss I think) but then..Idk it lacked the visual beauty of Ori I guess. Too grim, few colors, the music is also good but I didn’t like it as much as I did Ori’s so eventually I dropped it and played Ori again 😅😆

@@JohnDoe-dj3lw Same, I love Ori and I heard a lot about how good hollow knight is and I tried it and it just didn't feel different from all the other platformers I've played, not as unique as ori felt at least

@@Gsija964 Hollow knight and Ori aren't very comparable. Ori is platforming focussed down to it's bosses (giving you ways to play adound with your platforming options during the encounter), e.g. the bash/grapple lanterns in Moras encounter or the Water for Kwolok. Past the genre, the two games have very little in common in terms of the core gameplay. They are both amazing in their own rights, but there is no 'best game of X genre'. Different people look for different experiences.

It's okay if you don't enjoy hollow knight even if it is one my favourite games I have ever played. But despite that I would recommend litsening all the hollow ost music by Christopher larkin because some of the music is absolutely godly. Ori and the will of the wisps might be more of a work of art but hollow knight is 100% not an ugly game with fantastic colours and by the way you should look up a youtube video about hollow knight colours from a youtuber named rusty if you want to know about why the colour palette in hollow knight is so good. I think hollow knight platforming is good but ori and the will of the wisps has much better platforming than hollow knight because it feels smother and the game gives you more platforming moves to work with and the world of niwen also more fun to run around in then the world of hallow nest. Both of the ori games are much more linear than hollow knight and they have much less back tracking than hollow knight and it's not a bad thing but it is typical for a metroidvania from what I understand. I think hollow knight has a better sense mystery and discovery than than the 2 ori games since the game has so much optional content, but the 2 ori games have super rewarding exploration as well. I do think that it is absolutely fair to compare hollow knight to ori since they are modern metroidvanias with different focuses on the gameplay aspect but despite that I love hollow knight and ori and thanks for reading have a great day.

Yeah, this is probably my favourite place in both Ori games, it's just so much fun to be in, it's great for roleplaying and character ideas, too, in my opinion! And the whole atmosphere just feels so, like, secluded from the rest of the world, yet still a beautiful paradise where life thrives. And the music is so beautiful, as well, I agree! ^^

With flesh eating mermaids and glowing deep sea creatures? Could be even more creepy and unsettling as mouldwood depths. And they were already an absolute masterpiece. Imagine having to dive deeper and deeper, with less and less light to guide your way. And as finally lights appear, they are not friendly...can you imagine this? With a very corrupted theme version of luma pools? Slowed down, pitched down, with distortion and a few different chords...

Triple jump is hands down one of the best skills in the entire game.

I didn’t even realise about the triple jump till late in the game! As I was kind of happy with my abilities for a while. But I definitely got very good at platforming and bashing as a result. later realised I had obtained some items that were perhaps intended to be left until triple and spirit jumps abilities were obtained. End game with all the jumps, you literally feel like Spider-Man traversing the world, epic feeling.

i hadnt thought this game could get fluider but then I got triple jump and bruhhhhhh

Honestly using the fireballs here made it so much more easier than just using Flap to move the bubbles just to reach higher ground

it is a great game, but it gets extremly difficult at times, im at the part where im supposed to put all 4 whisps in this door at a sandy place, very difficult to get the whisps.

@@gleapjefferson8669 it can get very easy if you get the hang of it. You can "end up" (mid-game) with a 125% atk bonus, 30% dmg reduction and lots of other useful perks. Enemies just pop with a 2-3 hit combo. Normal difficulty.

It took me six and a half hours to beat but with a 102 deaths and this is my Ori and the blind forest play through

Sometimes the sense of overcoming the challenge is part of the intended experience and game design, I disagree. Not all games are meant to be either hard or easy, it's a plus that many have a difficulty selector but variety is good and it's fine that others don't let you choose the level of challenge aswell.
