Lumbee Homecoming 2023 Continues with a Day Full of Activities

Күн бұрынTens of thousands of people came to our Lumbee Territory this week for Lumbee Homecoming. It was a wonderful week to celebrate our Tribal Heritage and visit with our families who were home from across the globe. Today the celebration was winding down, but not before an exciting parade, powwow, some more great food, and the swearing in of Senior Ms. Lumbee Edith Jones. Tonight the festivities continue with the Lumbee film festival, and the fireworks.

My Great Great Grandfathers(paternal) was named John Lowry..from Bowling Green Kentucky(immigrant side) Married a Native woman (Great Great Grandmother) had children. My Grandpa had the Lumbee paper delivered to his house for years..thats how I came to know of the Lumbee Nation. I don't think my surname shares the same as Henry Barry Lowry bloodline, but it was an awesome story, I recognize some names, hard nuts out there even kicked the KKK the f outta there, impressed from California with what the Lumbees have accomplished. It's an inspiration to all Native Tribes I believe, no Tribe I know of created their own University.

ive been threatened with physical harm again in montgomery al. lets take this to federal court against roy moore and others who have blackmailed me and sextorted my children and hated the lumbee tribe over the years. my north carolina birth certificate was threatened again too its protected by north carolina law. closed adoption law no matter what the political environment is. they still think i was born in a foreign country here for some reason or some other state.

Oh here in Montgomery Al there are scooters you ate not supposed to ride on the sidewalk s and there are black people all around me riding on the sidewalks. I wouldn't hire any of them. They climbed a scaffolding around st John s church Montgomery Al in the middle of the night a young black guy who was drinking and said he was bored. And climbed down.
