I'd love to see a video on shrine placement and uses, maybe quickly running through each deployment map. I constantly find I misplay mine or put it in my own way.

It’s great to hear you again Jonas, I’ve missed your voice, as usual your videos are top notch and very informative, keep up the great work. I do have some thoughts on the list: Wardens- Solid, but only because we have to pay such a premium for battle line, and they are wizards, if we fix our battle line issues I’d put them in avoid, they have good damage on paper, but as someone who runs 2 units of 40, they really struggle to kill anything because they either miss or just die (even fully buffed) they’re just weak in practice. Sentinels- Soild, they are a staple, and even with all the things that has happened, a ranged wizard unit with decent mortal wound output is good, better than the ballista anyway, but you’d never run them in units of less than 20. Dawnriders- solid, yes they’re good screens and objective cappers, I wish they were the heavy Calvary they were supposed to be, the CoS cavaliers are what the riders should have been, lots of value, but die instantly and do no damage, even to the units they’re supposed to be good at. I’d prefer windchargers. Ballista- avoid, maybe niche, they have 1 utility shot, and they are long range, but the damage is about the same as (usually worse) 10 sentinels, with no mortal wounds, 100 points would put them in niche, but I’d rather a wizard unit that can give itself commands than a model that will probably do no consequential damage. Full rework needed Bladelords- high strong, maybe awesome, I too lament the loss of their banner ability, otherwise solid unit, I agree with basically all you’d said, a little points drop and they would indeed be awesome, one of our few possible hammers. Banner blade- Strong, not sure why you’re so down on this guy, maybe it’s just a difference in play styles, RR charges is awesome, super cheap hero with a 3+ save, the MW bomb is meh and usually doesn’t go off, but it’s always good to have a non wizard hero, and a cheap one at that, I think he is really perfect for what he costs and what he does. Lord regent- Solid, this is actually a surprise, I do agree with your points for the most part, but the spell has real value and he actually does damage, so yea still solid for me unless you aren’t going vanari heavy. E&E- niche, I do love these guys, but their teleport ability is asinine, and being dependant on battle round kills them for me, also being unique and Illiatha locked hurts them as well, beautiful models tho. They can be really good, but usually only after the battle is over. Eltharion- Awesome, straight up the best unit, especially after his buffs, just incredible in every way, and is a distraction carnifex, you basically send him out to die, but not before slaying the enemies key units, keep him buffed with speed of Hysh and within protection, and you’ll be wiping out entire units at a time, but weight of dice is his enemy so watch out there. Teclis- strong, I haven’t and don’t plan to use teclis, but I still think he is great, yes now he has more counters, but still a lynchpin of the army and is reliable, which is a word that you can’t use with a lot of our units, he also has a big base with big auras, and gives amazing buffs, he isn’t an auto include, but is still a powerhouse in our army. Outside of this GHB he will go back up. His role has changed this GHB for sure. Calligrave- Solid, not the worst caster, but a cheap shrine guardian is always valuable, decent abilities but mostly just a shrine guardian. Loreseeker- Solid, understandable niche. I have come to really enjoy him, he can still teleport and blizzard, but is a good distraction piece, very much too expensive tho. Cathallar- Strong, one of the few ways to mitigate bravery, and darkness of the soul is great, a very good caster hero. Enlightener- awesome, basically an auto include, potential to double cast a spell (I roll a 1 for that ability 95% of the time) can be a triple caster as well, basically our perfect scinari hero. Fox- strong, the best hero sniper, can get in, snipe and then get out, with great abilities, shame they lost their symbiosis ability, would love that back. Severith- awesome- just a better fox Windmage- niche, maybe solid, He has good lore spells, is a fast hero that synergises with the wind chargers. Windchargers- strong, better dawnriders role wise, pretty amazing in helon, fun movement tricks, might not be wizards, but for fast skirmish they are amazing. Stoneguard- Strong, the buff really brought them up and I’m comfortable bringing them outside of Ymetrica, if only we didn’t have to fight tooth and nail for battle line options. Slow movement and still need a lot of baby sitting. Cow- Strong, damage dealer, monster, good all rounder, doesn’t hit as hard as it should. Avalenor- awesome, just a better cow in every way. Sig is worried about to wound, but it balances out with the fact he gets mortal wounds. Stonemage- strong, can’t run any alarith units without her. Lyrior- solid, better than a regular regent for the most part. Your arguments about him are valid, but they also apply to the generic version, he does have one Ymetrica buff tho, and there is no reason that he can’t be Ymetrica, but makes no sense for him to be in Alumnia. Endless spells- solid, they are spells, they work, rune is best, then twinstones then sanctum, no strong opinion on them. Myari and his purifiers- niche, a fun goon squad that can annoy your enemy. He wouldn’t be Zaitrec because him and his troops are from Ymetrica. Shrine- awesome, auto include, just free CP, doesn’t need a guardian, but also increases the range of spells and auras of the guardian, and also can be used to block enemies. Battletome- niche or avoid, book itself is confused what it wants to be, we have horde quality units with elite level points and buffs, it kind of killed my love for the faction and I have dropped it for a while.

Maybe a bit late to mention, but I would love to see a video that's 5 minutes each of whether you feel each matchup is favoured/unfavoured and a quick discussion of the biggest problems and ways around them in each. (or in the most common?)

Thanks for the video! 💙 It's always exciting to hear players talk in depth about their favorite faction. As a new player, I'm hesitant to take the Lumineth as my first army. I'm afraid the army will be a bit difficult to play and paint. I'm also a bit disappointed that there aren't many different builds possible. It would have been nice to have 1 Vanari build, 1 Hurakan build, 1 Alarith build & 1 Scinari build... One day, maybe? :) Would you recommend the Lumineth as your first army? I've only done a few initiation games and I've never done any painting. The other factions I'm hesitating with are the Elven factions: Sylvaneth, Idoneth, Daughters of Khaine.

This was worth 2 hours of my time, even though I already pretty much felt the same about all the units already.

I would like to see the rune of scentoid build. Currently assembling models, so the help is appreciated.

And here I was trying to get into Lumineth, and wanted to bring 2x 20 Sentiels + Lord Regent and Wardens + maybe ballista, didn't need to be best competative list but still decent, but like with how you say Sentinels have no role at all more or less, I'm now kinda not sure I wanna start LRL even :(
