Chris I was wondering about the performance with that 150 and if you could compare it to the 200. Also, it looks like that boat drafts fairly shallow compared to a fiber glass boat. Putting the trolling motor batteries up front helps as well as the center mounted fuel tank.

Don Ausmus you’re right the boat goes crazy shallow. More so than any fibreglass boat I’ve run. Performance versus the 200 is easy... seem it’s only top speed that suffers. 46mph versus 56 with the 200.

Do the Pro V bass boats have padded front decks?

The carpet is quite plush. In fact, so much so that I have difficulty each year putting the carpet decals down. They have a tendency to peal as the carpet is thick. They do not have an underlay as say a Ranger does up at the very front however.

@@chrishockleyoutdoors5419 For the amount of money they are asking for these they ought to have a padded deck.

@@themangarage2203 DT Powersports sells Lund, Ranger and Triton. The only rigs that come with the padded carpet are Ranger Z500L series. The is an option on the other Rangers as well as the Triton line. So not exactly a standard. I've run all of the above and just never felt like I needed this option. I will mention the request as a product update option for Lund. Thank you for your input.

@@chrishockleyoutdoors5419 Skeeters and Pheonix have padded decks as well and I am pretty sure basscat and others offer it as well at least as an option. Don't get me wrong, I have a Lund now and my next one will be the ProV bass but ONLY because Lund makes the only bass boat on the market with cockpit, ski pole and jumpseats.

The Man Garage absolutely. I’ve run Skeeters and been in my share of our pros Phoenix’s and Bass Cats. The skeeters we had didn’t have this. Most likely an option. The Phoenix and BC I really don’t recall. I’m with you in that I like the layout of the Lund and having run the others in comparison I’m a Lund fan. Again, I will mention this as an option.
