Howdy. I have the same boat. Dual Axle Shorelander trailer. Can you please tell me the brand/type Transom Saver you are using. I am having a hard time getting info on what is best for my rig?

How does this cover work if you have a bounce buster on your TM? Also great videos - they helped me confirm my decision to purchase a pro v bass.

Don, thank you for your kind words! You’ll love the Pro V Bass! If you have a bounce buster then simply lift the TM… it will hold itself in place. Put the cover on as usual (this actually makes securing the cover at the bow easier with or without a bounce buster). Then just lower the TM down into its locked position. The Bounce Buster will push down on the cover and pinch it to the deck. Just make sure that you adjust the centre pole the first time to allow enough slack in the cover to achieve this without creating significant stress points. You may even opt to put a small rag or thin piece of carpet down between the Bounce Buster and cover. Not necessary but you can. By setting your cover up to do this you will ensure its longevity. Hope this helps!

I have a 13 pro v bass. But my cover does not have two poles secures underneath. I do have 2 poles in one of the storage units in the front mounted on the side thought. Can’t figure out how to use them

I just watched this video for the first time (I was putting my cover on a 2019 Pro V Bass and wanted to see if there were any tips/tricks). Great video Chris! I remove my Ultrex and strap it down on the front deck when I use the cover, which is only on long hauls. Is there a trolling motor optioned cover out now?

That’s a great call Ken! I’m not sure that I’ve ever seen a cover for one. I’ve often worried about rocks and such damaging it or the zillion things you hang off them now. Thanks for the compliment too!

Each year is different but all Shorelanders. I really like the upgraded trailer but the base trailer is very high quality too. Never had an issue. All single axles. You can order a tandem if you want.

@@chrishockleyoutdoors5419 I'm looking at a Tyee 1875 and it appears to have the same cover. The cover does not look to be very friendly to those of us who plan on keeping their boat tied to a dock - in order to put the cover on you have to untie the boat and then work the rope through the cleat access cutout flap. A better design would have allowed the cover to go over the rope without having to untie. Am I missing something ??

@@roberthall4360 thanks for your comment. I can most certainly understand your concern and suggestion. It’s a good one for anyone mooring their boat. As I’ve only used mine for travelling or while the boat waits on its trailer for our next adventure… I’d prefer not to have any additional areas or opportunities for water to get it. A simple slot to the end with Velcro could do the trick. I’ll be sure to mention this. Thanks and enjoy your Tyee!

@@roberthall4360 I trailer my 1900 Tyee and this cover is great. The boat is awesome, I do a lot of walleye fishing on Detroit river& Erie, always feel safe when gets real choppy. Enjoying yours?
