That’s the way my Stratos Pro does. There’s no lifting of the bow or digging down in the water. It just revs up, bites and the whole boat stays level as it lifts onto plane in a matter of a few feet. Most new boats can’t hang with my 1988 pro 181 that’s in mint condition and always garage kept and loved by may dad and now me. It had a 150 Johnsohn on it until a couple years ago I bought a new merc 200 and found a excellent prop that performs perfectly on holeshot and top speed. I’ve had it a little over 90 mph with it still pulling hard. That’s plenty fast enough for me so I called it good right there lol. It sure is a blast blowing all those super high performance jet skis out of the water tho. 😉 I’ve had a few put up a decent fight but soon they run out of top end.

Chris, after running the 1875 for a season with the 150 hp, would you stick with the 150 or max out? For me this is one of the biggest considerations in how I layout my new boat. Thanks for the great videos, they are informative and helpful.
