Love the color ! I have a 2019 with the 2.7EB and have put nearly 40K on it and it still puts a smile of my face every time I drive it.

I've had my 2018 2.7l for 4 years now. Put a 5 star tune on it at about 2500 miles. The truck is downright quick on the 93 octane tune. Will easily keep up 392 scat packs til about 90mph or so. Also, in a straight line light to light race, it can be hard to beat. I put it in 4x4H with traction control in sport mode, in the sport drive mode. I lock the torque converter with the break on at about 3200 rpm. When the light turns green, I go full throttle for the boost and let off the brakes. Most guys in Mustangs and Cameros will spin it all away at the line while I let the 4WD hook and go. However, my next daily driver will probably be the 3.5l hybrid and I'll trade the 2.7l in for a V8 model with an extended cab that I'll eventually supercharge...those are the plans at least

Lund is one of the best tuners out there for the Coyote engine. I have their tune on my Mustang. Had I known they tuned ecoboost engines at the time I wouldve had them tune my Raptor. That said I can't complain at all with my custom tune! Nice truck and beautiful color!

Coming from a 2020 GT PP1 to a 2022 F-150 XL 4x4 SuperCrew and I’m loving it. The thing feels really nice compared to the mustang. I was always worried about my ride height or the integrity of the road I’m driving on, now I just drive and enjoy the feeling. My friend has a modded 5.0 and he even says the 2.7 hauls absolute ass. 325HP and 400 torque is perfect.

In 2019 the 2.7L is rated at 400 pound feet of torque. My 2018 4x4 STX has the 2.7L and I'm over the moon with it. I love the torque hit down low. When I keep my foot out of it, the fuel mileage is pretty good too.

I have a 19 3.5 EcoBoost. Sport mode, traction control off and 4x4 for traction and it moves! I may have to take it and get a time slip sometime this summer.

Hey I am new to tuning and went with HP Tuners and I am impressed with the power of my 2.7 Ecoboost.I watched a video on the tuner and took all the limiters off. Using Vcm scanner said it had 608 pounds of torque and I am guessing from the motor.

How did you turn the trac control right off? Brown plug under the hood or just held the trac control button for 10 seconds?

My 2018 2.7 v6 lariat puts out a turbo sound you can hear from the cabin and I don’t have a tune or upgraded exhaust. I’d like to tune it and get a cool air intake but idk how much more performance I could get.

So I just installed a Lund tune on my 2.7. In your video you mentioned how it wasn’t really noticeable. I’m experiencing the same. Seems like I noticed more of a performance difference with a SCT 93 tune. What gives? I have the SPD turbo whistle exhaust package installed (high flow catted down pipes res delete and GX series exhaust. This tune seems like it took away a lot of turbo whistle that I had before.

I have a 2015 f150 xl sport 2.7 eco boost . I added a flow master duel exhaust , throttle booster and injen cold air intake . Any thoughts on making it even faster with the upgrades I have . By the way it’s a blast to drive the way it is . Just looking for a bit more fun . Nitro?

how much mpg did you lose after the tune? im averaging 18-20 stock...so i dont wanna lose to much...one of the reasons i like this truck is the gas mileage...last truck was 12mpg on a good day!!

Have a 2018 3.5 with cold air. Need to get a programmer looking at five star or lund see which one has the best numbers.

We have a 2022 Edge ST 2.7. I am blind but I am not sure if they put the 1st gen in the 2022 or a 2nd Generation with no port injection? No literature from Ford says. Is it a 2nd Generation engine? I don’t know if it has port and direct like trucks. It kind of vague. The 2 nd gen thing, they claim it is from 2018 on, but it’s confusing. Runs great on Phillips 66 93 octane.

I bought a 2016 F165 new with 29 miles. I call my truck F165 because the 2.7 ecoboost is 165 cuin. It is all the half ton truck anyone need. I have video of me beating a 2010 Silverado 5.3 from two stop lights. The truck has pulled a 96 4x4 Tahoe on a Uhaul trailer (7,300 lbs.) up the on ramp @ 70 mph with 3.31 gears. I now have 76k miles and the only problem with the engine is. I had to replace a $19 cylinder head temp sensor @ 69k miles. 2:28 these truck are not too quiet. You are just used to hearing loud v8. A stock F165 is quicker to 60 mph than a stock Mercury Marauder.

I loved the nGauge. It is too bad that hptuners doesn't support anything for it anymore including trying to get it to work on another vehicle. Can't unmarry it from that truck even after you return it to stock...

I'm a bit confused you lost torque? And you're still happy because all the dyno numbers I've seen on the other tuning companies make like 80 ft lb of torque over stock you might want to look into another company

Your torque is more than you said stock. 2.7L EcoBoost Twin-Turbocharged V6 It produces 325 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque.

Seems pretty expensive, especially considering you're not really "buying" anything, other than a dungle. You're just renting a tune, essentially.

Check out my mustang on my channel. It sounds completely diff than stock. Yeah it's nowhere near a coyote in terms of sound and I'm not trying to make it that way. You can make it sound extra mean with a bigger turbo though but it really made it sound better was deleting all the cats the intake the intercooler and the tune. I make $460 ft lb of torque right now in a 2.3 l lol. The only thing I don't like that Ford did was for example in the 2.7 l the internals are not quite as strong is the 2.3 l but they gave the 2.7 a semi closed iron block. While the 2.3 gets an aluminum open deck block. Yeah the aluminum block works better performance wise and cooling wise but once you go past 450 horsepower it's not nearly as durable as that iron block so most people swap a 2 l block onto the 2.3 as It bolts right on and it's a semi-closed iron block. I think the best mods for these cars are just the intercooler tune spark plugs anything to make the exhaust flow better and possibly fuel system upgrades. Like you said lots of people going by an intake which is kind of pointless. You get almost the same performance from a drop in filter an intake just gets a cool sound.

2.7 is not Ford smallest motor. Ford has had 1.5L and 1.8L engines for years in Europe. The Escape has 2.5 L engine. Ford is now making a 1.0 L 3 cylinder. 2.7 is FAR from the smallest. Now on to the tune. In my experience with vehicles I had tuned, its always best to tune on dyno. I am not a fan of remote tuning.

For $70 I made more torque than this tune and stock with an AFE drop in air filter. Better throttle response, +1 mpg, and slightly louder turbo whistle. Stock the truck would spin at 50mph getting up on ramps. Unless u are racing or towing +5000lbs I dont see why u would want any more power than it has. These are fantastic engines with the 10 speed

Biggest regret of my life. 2.7 trash. Would not waste any money on upgrading garbage. I bought the f150 2.7 no tow power no power at all. It's a great lawn decor. Driving it feels like driving a Honda civic dressed up like a truck. Just trash. $45,000.00 mistake. Your dad and grandpa had it right. Stay in the power stay V8.
