You're the man! All I keep is guppies, corys, and plecos so you are my kind of person! My mom kept Angels when I was a kid but I thought they were kinda mean so I don't keep em lol.

What are the Alder (?) cones for? If that's the European Alder (or is it Elder), one of my lawncare customers has one for a street tree. Messy tree... unless those cones are good for something. 😉

those caves are hard to find! I've only seen them ,at a reasonable price....at trade shows and fish shows, you'll pay 15$ and up per cave anywhere else

Shell dwellers 100% need sand. There is no way they're happy in that tank for a few reasons.

I hear a lot of people talk about how bad algae to have in a tank, but his were chock full of it! curious as to why opinions differ so much on that subject

lovinmzre algaes not bad at all, doesnt hurt fish actually takes nitrates out of the water column that can hurt your fish. but it means there is an excess of nitrates from over feeding probably in these tanks to make sure all fish are fed, healthy and growing. its just ugly and completes with slow growing plants.
