For sure Lupita Nyongo you inspire a soul.. it's true that someone can come from grass to grace, shame to fame... You inspire me as a person.... Africans we rock... We may be black in colour but we have light in our minds, we have big dreams and moreso we know who we are.... I love it when I see my fellow African becoming someone big.

Well, she doesn't really "come from grass to grace, shame to fame", her father is a famous politician in kenya. She grew up wealthy, going to private schools and such. I love her a lot but she certainly didn't grow up poor.

@@SuperToocool4skool well we have seen children who grew up from wealthy families and end up in scrubs.... We have seen children of famous people who aren't famous.. the best thing is that she knew that she is a girl child who has to look for a life not depend on his father's riches

Lupita must now educate people especially from West: that there is a difference in pronounsation between ' Nyong'o and Nyongo. Most of the people out there they pronounce 'Nyongo' as if no appostroph despite of Nyong'o with apostroph. This is the true African names ' Ng'ang'a, Okeng'a, these names got differences in pronounsation from Nganga, Okenga etc.
