The only experience I have with people Keighley is an domestic abusive Muslim from Keighley came to Preston and broke into his girlfriend's shared house (for domestic abuse victims, I was seeing a girl who was housed there) and when I tried to intervene he pulled a knife on me, Police arrested him and let him out at 1am with no way back to Keighley so he went back round to her house and punched her teeth out once I'd left If all the people from there behave like that I'd avoid it.

First place i was ever racially abused was Luton... the irony being that i'd gone there with 4 asian friends that needed some specific shopping (they had taught me all the swear words/insults to listen out for in their languages lol) so I wasnt a hostile in any way shape or form.. every specialist shop we went in, the shop keepers and shoppers all stopped and stared at me and then would mutter abusive crap about me when they thought we were out of earshot. The weirdest thing I was called that day in urdu was a "white donkey" lol, however there was a lot worse than that. All because I simply dared to exist there (peacefully and friendly) as a "white". Lovely town 😏

Laura is right. We have one street here resembling Luton and its demographic and its filthy. The roads are cracked, the pavements grimy, there's cardboard boxes and rubbish piled chest high at the side of the road like barricades and of course the random shopping trolleys dotted up and down off the main street. Then you've got the middle aged men smoking in the doorways of their shops and scowling. Always scowling and hunched over like a vulture even when its a bright sunny day without a cloud in the sky they're scowling

Similar to Bradford with the open precincts and like Bradford, has some stunning buildings. That looks tame compared to the top of town in Bradford. In the 70’s and early 80’s it was peaking and thriving and a good day trip for a kid to wonder round, you’d get snatched and sold abroad if you tried Bradford at 11 years old like we did in 2024..

I was born in Luton in 1975, and still live here. I have a decent job with a decent life, home and family. There are shit areas in all towns in this country not only Luton. There are good muslims, there are bad Muslims as there are good and bad of different religions.

Charlie my family moved there from a small mining village in North Wales Blaenau Ffestiniog It was a culture shock, I was 6 years old and the first time I had ever seen a person of ethnicity. In the 70s it was a nice place to live, my parents never took their key out of the front door where they lived in Corncastle Rd

Come to Lincoln Charlie visit our beautiful Cathedral that once was the tallest building in the world, also our castle has the crown court inside the castle grounds. There are other places in the city to visit from museums, to our famous steep hill and in the City centre we have the oldest building on a bridge.
