I used to work for One Dist KR3W / Supra before Kswiss bought them , Angel bought the KR3W name back from the chinese company that bought K Swiss. they pretty much left kr3w to die. They had last year they relaunched. Angel also owns The Straye footwear, which has Jamie Thomas, Antwan, and Boo Johnson riding for them i think Dane Vaughn rides for them too. Supra's License has been given to a Korean company that owns a skate distro and they are making just a few of the skate styles small runs etc. like the cuban and the stacks shoe.

Dane Vaughn is a terrible human being that robs people that help and trust him I know from personal experience I hope all his sponsors drop that loser he deserves nothing but negativity and hate for what he has done to people

I was wondering what happened with Lutzka and K-Swiss. Lutzka was everywhere, and K-Swiss seemed to be on the verge of something, but then I hadn't seen Greg in like 10 years, and K-Swiss really scaled back. I think the deal did not turn out well for the new owners.

this coulda been really cool moment. K-swiss always looked amazing, but lacked proper heel support. The opportunity to keep the lowkey k-swiss style and add a proper sole was a good one.

Sellout: I guess, but then again you can be core and live in a tent city. Skateboarding is in the Olympics, that core aspect is pretty much gone. Popularity = money = mainstream interest = corporate buyouts and core brands not being able to compete = 2024, skaters don't make shit these days without Monster and Redbull. A deck and shoe back in the 90s was good fucking money but somewhere around the early 2000s, post-911, the whole industry changed for whatever reasons. I have 20+ year old Transworld and Big Brother mags and they were like phone book from the shear amount of ads from a gargantuan amount of small/medium core brands.

He interrupted greg at least FOUR times with the "MIllion dollar contract!....multi million dollars?......so 5 years a few million dollars?.....MILLIONS OF DOLLARS!" My buddy from HS used to skate with him back in the day and he told Lutzka hated monster but he had to carry a can with him everywhere as part of his deal. He would just fill empty cans with water. This is before they had all the flavors and it was the original metal tasting monster.
